I heard footsteps going towards us, I looked at Pete to see he was smiling down at me mouthing me a 'it'll be ok'

Fitz walked next to someone shorter than him but was my height, he looked like he barely woke up and was not in a happy mood. He had dark brown eyes and brown hair, he looked at us with confusion.

"Uh who are you?" His voice.. it sounded like..

"Swagger" I suddenly said, his eyes widened at my voice, he must've recognized me.

"Y/N?" He slowly walked towards me, I saw Pete go next to Fitz, telling him something then they both left out the front door. Where were they going?

"Wow you're.. actually here?" He questioned, he was my height thankfully.

"Yeah, Fitz helped me, it was his idea as well" He smiled, he suddenly hugged me tightly which took me by surprise.

"Woah!" I giggled but hugged back, I don't know why but it was so nice to hug him, I always hug Pete and my other friends but this felt so different for some odd reason.

"Sorry, I just got so happy. You're actually here, I wanted to meet you but wasn't expecting you to get here so soon" We stopped hugging.

"I look awful, I'm so sorry I'll change" I stopped him by grabbing his wrist making him look back at me.

"You don't look bad, Swags. You actually look handsome" I winked at him which turned him red.

"Ah s-still, I'm going to change" I didn't stop him after that, instead I went outside with Fitz and Pete to see they were talking, they noticed me opening the door.

"How'd it go?" Pete asked.

"It went well, we hugged and now he's going to change" I explained to them.

"Maybe ask him to show you around, just the two of you" Fitz told me.

"Alone... with Swagger? I don't know if I can... I'm so awkward" I was a bit nervous to be alone with Swagger even though I wanted to be alone with him, I still was a bit nervous.

"You'll do fine, I'm going back to the hotel and you're going to spend the day with Swagger. Good luck" Pete told me, before leaving Fitz and I.

"Like Pete said you'll do fine. I know Swagger and he's going to try his best, I'm gonna go but I believe in you" With that he left, well shit now what? I went back inside the house, waiting for Swagger to get here.

"Sorry I took long" I heard Swagger come downstairs, seeing he was dressed up.

"It's fine" It was silent for a while until I spoke up.

"Hey, since I just got here. Would you mind showing me around?" He nodded at my request, both of us heading outside.

"Where do you wanna go first? We could go to this restaurant that's close from here" He suggested as we walked.

"Not really hungry right now, is there anywhere else we can go?" He was thinking on where to go then looked at me.

"To the movies? I heard there's a great movie that came out" I agreed on that, then we headed over there, the theater wasn't that far only about 10 minutes.

When we got there, we ordered the movie and some popcorn.

"So how was your flight?" He asked as we sat down, the movie wasn't starting yet but we decided to just go in anyways.

"Boring, but I did capture a good picture. Look!" I got my phone out and showed him some pictures I took.

"They look cool, did you take them?"

"No Casper the friendly ghost took them, yes I did!" I joked as I put my phone away.

"How is it living here? In Australia" I asked.

"Besides having shitty internet back at home, it's quite nice. Very different form America but I can live with it" He told me.

"You still don't have good internet? When will you change it?" I'm surprised they still had shitty WiFi.

"Don't know, but enough about me. Tell me how is it back home?" He asked me, I drank some of my drink then put it down.

"It's alright sometimes it gets boring though, I know I have Pete and my other friends but I want to live somewhere else or explore. This is a great opportunity to get away from home" I liked living back in Oklahoma but I want to go somewhere else for just a day.

"I get it, I'm the same way. Living in America was alright but I wanted to go somewhere else, this is one of the good choices that I've made in my life" Swagger said.

"What are the other good ones? If you don't mind me asking" He looked at me then back at the screen.

"The other one was meeting you" I was shocked on what he said, he didn't say anything neither did I. I decided to make it less awkward.

I put my hand on top of his making him look at me.

"It really was a good choice to meet you as well, Swagger" We smiled at each other.

"You know you don't have to call me Swagger, you can call me Eric" I nodded, the movie began, we stopped talking to watch it. The whole time throughout the movie, Eric and I held hands but we didn't mind.

"Now what do you want to do?" Eric asked me, the movie ended 10 minutes ago and we got some chips.

"We can relax at that park, kind of tired of walking" We both walked at the swings, sitting on them and ate our chips.

"So how are you liking Australia?" He asked.

"I barely got here and only went to the movies, I can't really say much yet but I guess it's alright" I looked up to see the moon shining bright.

"You'll like it once you see more of it, I promise" He promised.

"Ok, you better be right then" He giggled.

"I promise, princess" I blushed, looking down.

"Y/N?" I looked at Eric, seeing he looked nervous?

"I was wondering um.. will you go out... uh.." He scratched the back of his head, he looked down then made eye contact with me.

"Are you going to finish your chips?" He pointed down at my chips, I frowned then gave him the chips, not wanting them anymore.

I really thought he was going to ask me out..

Dammit Eric! This was your chance..
