*Sora's perspective*
Man, it's windy here...huh? Oh, this again?
I'm not sure why, but I'm falling from the sky above Destiny Islands. Reality doesn't hit me until my clothes are drenched with salty, ocean water.
"Sora!" Kairi? It's her! It's actually her!
"Kairi!" I can't run as quickly as I'd like to because of the water, but I'm gonna get there. The water level lowers more and more the closer I get to Kairi, and I don't slow down for even a second. "Kairi!" I don't spare a second as I take her into my arms.
"Sora...you're home. How did you do it? How did you get here?"
"I...I'm not sure. Everything is so hazy, but I do remember all my adventures! Boy...me, Donald, and Goofy...we sure go through a lot together. The three of us make the best team ever! Keyblade Hero 3! Aheheh!"
"Where'd you get that from?" Kairi laughs, and, I have to say, I missed hearing her sweet laugh.
"From San Fransokyo! Kairi, fist bump!"
"Whaa-? Heheh! Alright. Uh...like this?" Kairi lightly taps her fist against mine.
"Yeah! There ya go! And then...balalalalala."
"Balalalalala."
I can't help but laugh at her when she does that. It's really...cute. Aheheh..
"Sora, you're.....you're home."
"Riku!" I don't even have to look. I know it's him! I tackle him without question.
"Sora, how did you get back?! We've been looking for you forever!"
"I don't know, Riku. I saved Kairi and then...it's hazy from there. Last thing I remember is falling from the sky...again."
"Well, whatever happened, I'm just glad you're back. We have another mission to accomplish. You ready?" Riku gives his classic smirk.
"As ready as I'll ever be! Aheheh!" I'm so happy to be home. The thought is so exciting! I...uh. A flashing light catches the corner of my eye. "...huh?" Something...is washing ashore. "It's a lucky charm." I pick up the paupou fruit-shaped charm by its twisted string.
"Where's that from?" Kairi steps up curiously.
"I don't know. For some reason, though, I don't wanna let it go."
"Is it important to you?" Riku asks.
"Yes, but...I don't know why."
Where did this charm come from? Why does it feel so significant? Could it be linked to my return? Or...could it just be something someone lost? Mph...if that's the case, guess I'll have to find out who it is...and return it to them.
