Chapter 4

3rd Person POV
It had been a few days since the incident with Y/n and Shippo. Oddly enough there hadn't been any demons around, which rose a lot of questions for everyone but there were going to enjoy the peace they had while it lasted

Y/n's POV

I sat on the grass admiring the beautiful scenery around me, I took a deep breath in and out as I looked around. "Today is so nice and peaceful" I say softly while leaning back a bit, everyone else was socializing but I felt like being alone today. I was still mad at Inuyasha for being not talking to me but I decided to try and let it go. Things happen right? "I wonder what everyone's talking about...meh, it's doesn't matter.", I shake my head forgetting about it and open my backpack. I start to rummage through it looking for my chips until I find them, "
Gotcha'!" I took out a bag of potato chips and start eating them slowly to savor the salty flavour. "mmn" I hummed lightly, "These are so good" I reach in my bag to grab another; within a few seconds I see red beside me. "Inuyasha: Y/n let me get some!" I looked at him and said "No" in a quiet tone. He growled "Inuyasha: Come on! Please!?", "You know what, you can take the whole bag!" I quickly gave him the bag and stand up taking my stuff and walking to another deserted part of the field. "I didn't feel like hearing him keep begging me". I grunt in an irritated Manor and plop down on the lush grass, I calm down and get lost within my thoughts

3rd person POV

Hours have passed any everyone started to travel once more, there were still no sites of demons or strange happenings. Not too much later it became night fall.

Y/n's POV

I whined quietly as my feet ached, "can we please take a break..my feet are killing me?" I asked rubbing my legs and slowing down a bit. "Inuyasha: No! we gotta hunt for more jewel shards!" He scoffed and kept walking. "Inuyasha: You humans are always making excuses", I sigh and keep walking; then I then see a white serpent like creature fly past everyone. "T-that's a soul collecter..kikyo's close" I said to myself knowing what was about to happen. Inuyasha stopped in his tracks and sniffed the air, "Inuyasha: Stay here, I'm going to go find kikyo" I looked at him "B-but.." he took no notice to my words and ran off. I was felt the pain of rejection flair up in my chest and became angry, "I don't care what he thinks he's going to do, it's just gonna get him hurt. I'm going after him!" I follow Inuyasha and Kagome tags along as well.

Kagome's POV

Not kikyo! I know how he gets around her. He acts like I don't even exist and have feelings. It makes me feel jealous and sad, "Y/n..I don't think we should be spying on them" I say sadly trying to hide my feelings. "Y/n: we're following him for his safety, you know how he acts. He'll get himself trapped and killed because...of his love for her". she hesitates with her words, it almost seems like she feels the same way

Sango's POV

I watched as kagome and y/n went after Inuyasha and I didn't have a good feeling about it, it was like I already knew something was gonna go wrong. It wasn't just me either, Kiara has been on edge the whole time.."what's gonna happen?". Miroku walks in front of me, "Miroku: We'll wait here, if something does happen between them..we'll see after the fact.". I pick up Kiara and nod in agreement
