Inuyasha x Reader

Chapter 9

Y/n's POV

It was a pretty peaceful day after the situation with the spider demon, kagome decided to go home so that left me, Inuyasha and everyone else to relax and take a breather for a while. I sat in the grass looking out into the distance and smiling, "its such a beautiful day today.." I say while running a hand through my h/c h/l hair. "Where's Inuyasha.." I say thinking I might ask him to be mine and mine only, as I was thinking I felt a body sit beside me and I looked to see Inuyasha staring my right back into my eyes. I was a little startled but I recovered, "hey, Inu-" I was cut off by his words. "Inuyasha: I really have to talk to you, it's important..", his voice was quieter than usual and it worried me. So I nodded and let him continue, "Inuyasha: you..know after you shared your feelings for me..I felt the same way..and I didn't know how to say it back..but then the incident with kagome..made me realize that..I have to choose between you two, I know it's bad..but..I haven't felt this way since I was with kikyo and..I can say..that I..I love you y/n..I love kagome..but I think that she's just the same as kikyo just younger and more reckless, I can say that you've showed me how to love someone different not connected to her in any type of way and that I wanna be with you. So..will you be my mate?". I was frozen, his words rang in my head like a bell that would never stop. I stared at him not knowing what to say, "I...I.." he then got behind me and covered me with his warm embrace. "Inuyasha: please..be with my y/n.." I finally snapped out of it, "I...I will be with you inuyasha..and I'll protect you..and take care of you.." I then turned around in his embrace and I kiss him, he returns the kiss immediately.

Miroku's POV

I watched from the bushes while covering shippo's eyes, "Finally.." sango was beside me. "Sango: well..I guess he needed someone that wasn't connected to kikyo to show him new love, they would make a great pair, right miroku?", I nodded and kept watching. "Shippo: HEY! I WANNA SEE!".  I silenced him "Shippo! Shut up or Inuyasha will hear us!"

Y/n's POV

Inuyasha's ears twitched and he ran towards the bushes, "Inuyasha: Hey! Why are you spying on us!" . They all ran out the bushes and Inuyasha chased them, "Inuyasha: Get back here!". I watched laughing then standing up and walking father out into the field, "I can't believe that he's my mate now...but the real question is..how am i gonna die..?..kagome..is for sure going to kill me.." I looked down, "oh boy..she is gonna flip out!"
