Chapter 28

Inuyasha's POV

I sat at the well waiting for y/n and kagome to come back, " they both said 3 days and they better not be a second later". I growl and hear shippo say "stop worrying inuyasha! I'm sure they'll be back in a little while", I turn away from the well and sure enough I hear kagome and y/n grunting. I stand and turn back around to see them jumping out the well, they both look at me and say my name at the same time. "well? What took you so long and don't give me excuses!"

Y/n's POV

I look at Inuyasha and smile again before walking past him and Into to the forest, I stop not too far away from everyone and sit against a tree. I lean my head back and think of everything that happened leading up to right now, "Wow...So much stuff has happened..And...I don't know where I stand, I'm so unsure of myself..Which makes things even more difficult". I take my pack and start rummaging around inside of it, I then hear foot steps and look up to see Inuyasha. "...Inuyasha" I say quietly while pulling out a snack, "Inuyasha: What are you doing Y/n? And why did you walk away from me and the others?". I close my eyes and stay silent for a moment letting all my thoughts cloud my mind before I feel him sit beside me, I then speak snapping out the trance. "Well, I needed time to think to myself and to think about all the things that happened leading up to now and everything that happened..I just wanted to be alone for a little bit because I can think better..". I look over at Inuyasha to find him looking right back at me, "I-Inuyasha?..Why are you staring at me?".

Inuyasha's POV

She caught me! I feel so stupid, so I turn away feeling the blush dust lightly on my cheeks. "what? I-I don't know what your talking about", I glace slightly to the side to see she has a small smile on her face and her s/c cheeks covered in blush. I felt my heart skip a beat then I feel her hands intertwine with mine, I look down at them then look up at her. She starts speaking softly. "Y/n: Inuyasha...We've been through a lot lately and..I haven't had time to properly tell you that..I love you and I'll never stop loving you..". She leans in slowly and gives me a kiss on the cheeks, I felt as if I had just started flying. My cheeks became completely flushed at I was at a loss for words, "a-and I'm sorry that we took extra long getting back. I just needed time to..heal", I stare at her silently before finally gathering up the courage to speak. "Y/n..i feel completely the same way about you a-and..Well..I-I love you to", Y/n stays silent

Y/n's POV

I sit in silence after speaking my peace, "I-Inuyasha?" I suddenly feel his grip on my hand tighten then my body is then pulled against his, Inuyasha's arms wrapped around me like tightly. The warmth from him engulfing me, "Inuyasha: Y/n you didn't have to tell me any of that, thankyou and I understand that you need to heal..Your only human", my cheeks become flushed red as I grip onto his robe. I lay there against his feeling some of his gorgeous strands of hair grazing against my skin softly as the wind blows. There were no more words between us, only actions that spoke for us.

Oof, I'm so sorry It took me such a long time to update. I just didn't know what to write and I just didn't have any inspiration, but I do now. So i'll be updating more frequently. 😊
