Chapter 23

Inuyasha's POV

I watched in disappointment as the villagers rejoiced and walked towards their village gesturing us to follow, "he's never gonna learn..." I groaned and shippo jumped on my should. "Shippo: yeah, he's such an idiot..and if that princess is possessed then he's in trouble", "you got that right". Y/n put her hand on my shoulder, "y/n: let's just follow and make sure it's not anything to serious...I don't know but..I'm feeling different than usual..And I feel it might help with our battles but I'm not sure..". I looked at her and nodded, we started off walking towards the village. Withen no time we were sitting in a room with an whole lot of food in front of us, "Miroku! When are you gonna stop-" I felt a hand cover my mouth as I saw y/n and Kagome looking at my from both sides both of their hands on my mouth. "Kagome: shhh! We need this food and a place to sleep tonight", "Y/n: please don't give it away..I'm so hungry!" Her stomach growled and she blushed looking down at it. Their hands came off my mouth and I scoffed, "fine! I won't tell! But their had better be a real demon!" And with that I started stuffing my face.

Kagome's POV

"Miroku: would you like to bare my child?" I watched him come on to a beautiful girl, "he's such a perv.." I look over at sango to see her shaking in anger. "Sango: Miroku..that had better be a joke!" He groaned and whimpered, "Miroku: S-sango! Of course it is!" Then he was dragged away by a young women. "It's gonna be okay Sango.." Then I heard a creak and turned to see y/n standing up and stretching, "Y/n: I can go check on miroku and make sure that nothings happening between them because I know that sango means the world to him..and if she gets hurt..." Her voice suddenly became dark, "Y/n: he'll be dead to me. I got a shiver up my spine, "O-oh sure..." And with that she was gone. Her belongings beside her lover

Y/n's POV

I followed stealthily behind miroku and the young girl, I walked pass a room and I got a chill down my spine. "W-..what is that!" I opened the door to see the demon the villagers we're describing, he was half way done consuming a guard of the room I suppose. I screamed.

Inuyasha's POV

My ears twitched as I heard Y/n's Scream, "Kagome stay here and protect the villagers!" I got up as quick as possible and ran to her following her scent. I approached her and stood beside her, I then looked in the room and saw the demon. I growled and pulled out my tetsiga, "Y/n: Wait! T-that princess is dead..her body is made with the same stuff that kikyo's Is made of! S-she's taking the souls of humans and letting the demon eat the bodies! I..I think I can take care of this" I looked at her a little shocked but nodded, "I'll keep out my sword just in case it's to much for you". I watch as she draws her sword slowly, It starts to become surronded with blue aura.

Y/n's POV

I look down at my sword and it pulsed making my whole body become covered in the blue aura, I walk inside of the room and Inuyasha follows me. The demon sees us and quickly devour the corpse, "Your disgusting... you make me wanna vomit at the very sight of you!" I raise my sword and swing it, a piercing pure light comes out like Inuyasha's wind scar. The demon becomes purified and so does the princess, "That was easy...a bit..to easy..but I don't sense anything so I guess nothing else is here". "Inuyasha: Well..I guess you didn't really need me" he puts his sword back in the sheath looking a little disappointed, I turn and look at him. "it's okay..I need you anytime" I kiss his cheek and he blushes, "Inuyasha: Y/n..." I grab his hand and walk back to the main room forgetting about miroku. I open the door to see everyone rejoicing even more, "Village man: You've defeated the demon! We are forever greatful!"

3rd Person POV

With that comes a happy ending to the groups day, Miroku and sango bickered and fought while everyone watch in awe knowing how they feel toward eachother. Well, everyone accept Inuyasha since he was so dense
