Chapter 16

Inuyasha's POV

I sat at the well waiting for y/n to come back, she said that she needed some time to herself for a little while. I didn't think she meant 5 days!, I growled and Looked into the well. "i wonder..can I go get her..like I can get kagome?..hey it's worth a shot!" I jump into the well and await to be in kagome and y/n's world, It didn't take long. I landed and jumped out to meet the face of kagome. I forgot she went back to, "Kagome:..what are you doing here Inuyasha?". "I came to get y/n, why?", "Kagome: that's it huh! SIT!" I smacked against the ground. "Kagome: she should be coming!", Kagome's jumped into the well and I got up. "I think she broke my spleen..", I stand up to see y/n walk into the shrine. She tackle hugs me making us fall back into the well!, "Y/n: I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!". I asked feeling my cheeks heat up "Why?", She just hugged me tighter as we landed on the ground of the well. "Y/n: I.. missed seeing you..and hearing you..feeling you.." she sits up blushing and I smile slightly. "I ..missed you to y/n..", I helped her out the well and we sat in the field.

*6 hours later*

Y/n's POV

We we're on the run again looking out for more jewel shards but Inuyasha was acting more distant that usual and it was worrying me, but I decided to leave him knowing it might be personal. We did see kikyo earlier and that's probably why he's in that mood, "..does..he wanna see her again..?" I ask myself looking down at the dirt trail we we're walking on then I saw a soul collecter fly past my face and ahead of me, my eyes widened as I saw Inuyasha run after it. I felt my heart drop as I reached out my hand "I-Inuyasha..." I run after him my tears flying away in the wind

Kagome's POV

"Y/n, she looks so pained and sad..just like I was...I know she'll never talk to me again..but" my grip on Kiara's fur tightened, "sango..follow them please..". She didn't speak she just ordered Kiara to follow.

Y/n's POV

I kept running after Inuyasha, my heart beating out of my chest. I felt breathless and like my heart was gonna shatter at a single word, finally I stopped as I saw him standing In front of kikyo. I stood there and listened to the conversation.

Inuyasha: "Kikyo.."

Kikyo: "why are you here Inuyasha..?"

Inuyasha: "I promised to protect you..so Naraku wouldn't get to you again..I couldn't save you.." he hugs her tightly as she looks at him.

Kikyo: "Inuyasha..."

Inuyasha: "Kikyo...."

They part the hug and look at each other, then...they kissed. I started sobbing loudly as I ran back the path that I followed him on passing sango, miroku, shippo, Kiara and Kagome. "I knew it was to good to be true!" I said to myself as I fell and bruised my thigh. I kept running non-stop no matter how much my legs hurt or how much I felt like I was gonna pass out, I ran so far that I was at the well. I cried harder as I had left all my belongings but I jumped in and went home,

Y/n hasn't been seen in almost 5 weeks since then....
