Chapter 30

Y/n's POV

Me, Inuyasha and Kagome walk the direction we were instructed to,  "Inuyasha: Keep your guard up! Be prepared for Anything!", I nod in agreement and unsheath my kitana. I then say quietly  "Kagome, ready one of your arrows" she nods as does as I say. We stealthily look around to find anything out of the ordinary, then suddenly; The ground starts shaking violently and loud roars fill our ears. I turn around as well as everyone else to see a colossal black demon with blood red eyes, a slight shiver travels down my spine. "Kagome: I sense the jewel shard! It's in his right eye!", she then aims and fires her arrow directly at the eye. I watch as the arrow completely disintegrates the demon and the Jewel shard falls on the ground, I look in disbelief. "K-kagome..You've never done that before..". She walks over and picks up the shard, "Kagome: well, it seemed easy enough so I took the shot. I think I did a good job, we didn't waste much time thanks to me" she smiles and marches back to us with pride. "Inuyasha: Kagome!", he growls then turns away. "Inuyasha: It was easy anyway, you'd never be able to defeat foes like mine!" he slips his sword back into his sheath and scoffs. "Kagome: Well excuse me for helping!!" she groans, "Kagome: Sit!". I watch as inuyasha plummets into the ground, "Kagome: your such an Inconsiderate dog!". I giggle quietly to myself then help inuyasha up, "You really gotta watch what you say". I pull him up and smile at him, he looks at me then blushes lightly and looks away. I then look as the others approached us, "Sango: Inuyasha! Y/n! Kagome! Did you all find the demon or come across it?", I smile; "actually, Kagome defeated it with one of her arrows". Sango looks at kagome then congratulates her on the defeat, "Well, should we get going now?" I say happily. Everyone agrees and we continue our journey.
