Chapter 6 Part 2

Y/n POV

I stood up not bothering to finish my tea and I walk out the little home, I took a deep breath and walked to the old well just in time to see kagome pop out. "Kagome! I was just expecting you, welcome back" she smiled as I took her hand and helped her out "Kagome: thanks alot, have you seen Inuyasha?". My face turned from a smile to a frown "No..I don't know where he is". Kagome sighed and crawled all the way out dusting off her skirt then she walks off in the distance to where sango, miroku, shippo and Kiara are. I sigh "what did I do..?" I say quietly then I walk to the right of the well into the secluded part of the field. I sit down and fiddle with my fingers while thinking.

Inuyasha's POV

I see Y/n sit down alone in the field, I Huff and jump down from my tree landing in front of her "what's wrong with you?" I say crossing my arms as my ears twitch. Y/n looks up at me "Y/n: Inuyasha..can I tell you something?..", I was kinda scared cause I've never heard her talk to quietly. I sit down beside her and look at her "what is it?..", she scoots in front of my and looks at me. "Y/n: I..like you Inuyasha..I like you more than a friend..and I know..how you feel about Kikyo and Kagome and I'll never get a spot", my heart dropped and I started blushing lightly, "w-why do you like me Y/n?" I lean in closer waiting for an answer. Her cheeks turned bright red and she looked me straight into my eyes, "Y/n: ..I like..how you changed from being so cold to showing emotion..I like how you make me feel warm and safe when your around..I like that you value your friends over power unlike when we first met.." I was speechless, my cheeks were burning. I didn't know what to say, "I...I.." without warning she hugs me. "Y/n: Inuyasha..p-please don't leave me..I-I don't know what I'd do without you.." she holds my tighter and I slowly lean against her "I won't leave..I promise". Y/n looks up at me and closes her eyes leaning in, my heart started to beat wildly and my ears twitch then I relaxed and let her lips meet with mine. I wrapped my arms around her waist, she then parted the kiss and hugged me tightly not giving signs of letting go. "Y/n:..Kagome is gonna kill me..but..I can't help..that you make me..feel this way..", "yeah.." I said closing my eyes letting myself melt into her embrace.

Kagome's POV

I watched Inuyasha and Y/n, my blood boiled at the sight but then it just turned into sadness. "S-she's beat me to it..and..he accepted her love.." I looked down "Oh Inuyasha..."
