Chapter 3

Alic's POV:

In came Shawn.

I just starred at him. Shawn was like my brother. He protected me from bullies, My mom and just everything. He made me laugh when I was sad and comforted me when I was just down. He took all my mood swings and still manage to be my friend after all the things I said to him. "Shawn." I whispered. No one heard me though. "Hey dude what's taking so long?" Shawn asked.

"Um...." Nash hummed. Nash looked at me for permission to say my name. I just couldn't answer. It was silent.

Jean is now behind the counter just watching this unfold. She hasn't said a word. Shawn looks at Nash then to me. Finally noticing my presence. "Who's this?" Shawn asked. Yeah that cracking sound....that was my heart breaking just a little bit.

"This is Alic." Nash said in a 'duh' tone. Shawn just raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Hey I'm Alic and this is my daughter Zoey." I decided to introduce my self. He smiled and held out his hand. "Hey I'm Shawn." I set Zoey down and shook Shawn's hand. He then bent down to Zoey level. "How are you today beautiful?" He asked Zoey. She giggle. "Great because today I'm 3!" She yelled while holding up 2 fingers. We all laugh. "When's your party?" Shawn asked. "I don't know, mommy was just talking about it." She said looking back at me. Shawn looked at me and smirked. Oh he has an idea...and you never know if it's good or bad.

Shawn stood back up and went to say something but the bell to the door rang again. I looked at the person coming in and saw Taylor. "Shawn we made you come in here to se- Woah." Taylor said then looked at me. I mean he's starring at me.

What if he knows who I am? I really need to get out of here, before the next person that comes in is Matt. "Listen guys I really need to go, Zoey and I have some stuff to do." I said quickly and put the candy on the counter to get paid for. I picked up Zoey took the bag of candy and the one toy, then walked quickly to the door. "Wait!" Nash yelled. I looked at him with the 'are you serious' face.

"Can I have your number to keep in touch. I really want my bestfriend back." He whispered. I looked in his light blue eyes. Should I give it to him? What if he gives it to Matt? No he wouldn't do that. I need to stop worrying about it. Nash would never do that to me.

I sighed. "Yeah sure, but promise you won't give it to Matt. Also promise you won't tell him that you saw me." I said holding out my phone. Nash had a huge smile on his face. "Yeah totally I promise." He whispered while grabbing my phone. He put his number in and gave it back to me. "I gotta go, bye Nash. I missed you." I said. "I missed you too." he whispered and with that I walked out the door.

Nash's POV:

I said good bye to my grandma and we all went inside the car. The whole crew is here. Me, Hayes, Carter, Taylor, Jack J, Jack G, Arron, Cameron, Shawn, mahogany and Matt. I didn't really know what to say, so I kept quiet in the car. Taylor just kept starring at me. It's kinda creeping me out. I pulled out my phone and texted him.

From: Nash😂

Quiet starring at me before I kick you in the face.

From: Tay Tay😏

I need to talk to you when we get to the hotel. It's important.

I looked up at Taylor. Oh my...He knows about Alic. I'm for sure he does.

We soon arrived at the hotel and checked in. I'm sharing a room with Cam, Hayes and Matt. Taylor with Aaron and Shawn. Jack J with Jack G and Carter, and Mahogany has her own room. We took all our luggage to our rooms and came back down to the limo, to go to a restaurant.

When we arrived, I looked at the sign and saw we we're at Olive Garden. YES! I went to sit in a chair at the table, but Taylor grabbed my arm and pulled me to the bathroom. When we got inside Taylor checked every stall to see if any one was in here.

"Taylor that's weird." I said while he kept checking stalls. "No you wanna know what's weird is when I go to find you and Shawn, to see Alic and a baby!" Taylor yelled. See! I knew that he noticed her. "Dude calm down." I said whispering.

"Matt is out there." I added. "So?" Taylor said. Oops. Well I have to tell him to keep his mouth shut about her. "Dude Alic doesn't want Matt to know that she's here." I whispered again.

"Why? and why did she have a baby?" He asked. I have to tell him. I sighed. "If I tell you the truth, will you shut up?" I asked.

He nodded. "Alic and Matt hooked up at my party almost 4 years ago and she got pregnant, so she left because she doesn't want Matt to know." I explained. "You can't say anything about this around Matt or Alic. I promised I wouldn't say anything." I added. "I won't say anything. Just one more question. Why is she keeping the baby from him? Also were they drunk or did they actually like each other?" Taylor asked.

I sighed. This kid is getting on my last nerve. "She knows Matt had big dreams. She says that she wants Matt to accomplish those dreams instead of just paying for a baby. Also dude you know they've had a crush on each other for a long time, but I think they were drunk." I said. He nodded.

"Now can we go eat?" I asked. "Yea, I'm hungry." Taylor replied. We walked out the bathroom and Taylor whispered. "She changed a lot, like she's super hot." I chuckled and rolled my eyes, but in a way Taylor was right. She did change a lot. I almost didn't recognize her. If it wasn't for her nose little button nose and extremely Blue eyes, I don't think I would have noticed her.
