Chapter 28

Alic's POV: (Alic's outfit at the end.)

Once Matt and Taylor left, I opened the door and looked both ways. Both halls were clear. I looked behind me at Corey and Chris, they were still asleep.

I made my way out the door and closed it softly. I still had my clothes on from last night, but I don't care. All I care about is seeing my baby and Mahogany. I haven't seen them in forever.

I walked down the halls to Mahogany's room. The excitement bubbled in my stomach. I literally can't wait to see Zoey. I miss being there for her.

I make a left, going down another hall. I pass the elevator and kept walking. That was, till the elevator made a sound.

The doors opened and the sound from the inside poured out. The voices of Nash, Shawn, and Hayes. I was shocked. I didn't plan on bumping into them, but I should have. How could I not plan about bumping into them?

The only thing that popped into my head was...run. My feet started up and I ran down the hall. I turned right randomly and kept running. 'Room 224. Room 224.' That's all I thought. The room numbers went by fast and my side started to hurt.

'220...222...224.' I finally got to Mahogany's room. The voices were faded but you can hear that they were coming this way.

I banged on Mahogany's door. Please open up! The pain in my side grew as I panicked. I hit the door harder, as the voices got louder.

Finally, the door flew open. I ran in and fell on the messy bed. Mahogany closed the door and locked it. I felt myself calm down, the pain slowly fading away.

"Wanna tell me why you bang on people's door like a mad women?" Mahogany asked. I couldn't even speak. I was so scared and I guess I'm just shocked I didn't get caught.

Sweat was dripping down my forehead, it was really hot in here. "Can I have water?" I asked. Mahogany nodded and left.

She came back only seconds later with a bottle of water in her hands. I sat up and almost desperately took the water out of her hands. I finished it all in a matter of seconds.

"Now do you want to tell me, why you were banging on my door? Like why couldn't be a light knock, were I open the door and you come in and say"Good Morning Mahogany, nice bed head." Like that would be nice!" She ranted. I lightly laughed at the bed head part.

"Nash, Shawn and Hayes they came out the elevator as soon as I passed it and I panicked." I finally calmed down and my side felt better.

"Where is Zoey?" I asked almost instantly after I explained. I missed her and I didn't see her when I came in.

"She is sleeping on the couch. Matt was here last night, playing with her. She fell asleep and Neither of us wanted to wake her up...so we left her on the couch." I nodded in understanding.

Mahogany walked behind me, I turned to see where she was going. She walked in between the 2 beds in the room. Opening her suit case, she took out an outfit.

"Here get ready. The party starts in 2 hours." She handed me the clothes.

I couldn't help but think. What if Matt doesn't want to see me, even though he told Taylor he wants us to be a family. What if he isn't happy to see me? What if he sends me back to the hospital?

The more I thought about it, the more anger I felt. He can't make me go back. This is my daughter. I planned her birthday, and I also plan to be there.

I took the beautiful outfit Mahogany gave me and went to the bathroom to get ready.
