Matt's POV:

I burst through entrance of the hospital with the bed the doctors were rolling. What happened?! What happened?! I couldn't stop asking myself the same question. I kept looking at Alic. Her face was pale, her lips chapped, slightly parted as she breathed in the air from the air mask. I hope nothing serious happened to her.

What are you talking about Matt? You did see how much pain she was in. How there was no amused sparkle in her eyes to show she's joking. The tears running down her face. The screams of pain she let out. It was so horrible.

I soon came out my thinking state when a big hand was pressed against my chest. I look up and see them rolling Alic away. "I need to go, I promised." I told the guy holding me back. All he did was give me a hard stare. I wasn't breaking that easily, Alic is to important to me. Plus I made a promise that I plan on keeping. I gave him a glare. "Listen I made a promise to stay with her. I don't know about you..but I keep my promises!" I yelled at the really big muscled 6"4 nurse . I found it weird. He's a guy but a nurse. Personally I think guy nurses should have another name because girls are usually nurses, but when you call a guy a nurse it just sounds weird.

Anyways back to serious matters. "I do keep my promises, but you can't come back. We want to find the problem and get her home as soon as possible. Look at it this way, you practically are keeping your promise. Your staying here with her, just not in the room." The nurse explained. I looked down at the ground, noticing mud all over my white shoes. "No one is here yet." I whispered. All the guys,Mahogany and Zoey had to go to Meet and greets. Zoey, she doesn't know what was going on. She was scared. I told Mahogany to bring Zoey up here after Meet and Greets. "I get off my shift in 5 minutes we could get coffee in the cafeteria." He offered. Honestly, I thought this nurse was a big meanie! Until he started talking.

"Yeah, that would be good. I will be in the waiting room." I told him and turned to walk away. I only took a couple steps till I seen the waiting room. I took a free seat (because it would be awkward if I sat on someone's lap) and started to think. My heart is aching. My mind won't stop running. I wanted to stay. I wanted to stay by her side. I also want them to find what's wrong with her.

"Sir?" Someone called. I looked up and seen the guy nurse. Has it already been 5 minutes? I smiled weakly and stood up. I followed him out the waiting room, down some halls,to the elevator and right into the cafeteria.

"My name is Corey." The nurse started the conversation. "I'm Matthew but I like to be called Matt." I told him. "Yeah, I know you and I know the girl we rolled in. My daughter she's 6 and loves all the Magcon boys. Oh and don't get her started on Alic and Zoey. They are her favorite in the whole group. I work doubles for 2 weeks to get tickets and meet and greets." He smiled at me. "Really? I'm sorry we aren't there. I thought she had a cold or the flu, but I knocked on the door and heard a scream." I explained. He nodded. "Dude it's ok. I just want Alic to get better. She's important to a lot of young girls." I nodded. Corey is right. Alic was a big role model on these younger girls. I rather have her ok and healthy again, then walking around sick.

We made our way to the medium sized line at the café counter. "What do you think is wrong with her?" I asked after a long silence. Corey sighed. "I don't really know. It could be a lot of things. The paramedics said somethings. The only thing that is really standing out to me is A bad liver. Of course I'm only a nurse, but trust me on this one." He said.

A bad liver? "A bad liver? What does that mean?" I asked not fully understanding. "It's a really long process. The liver is an important organ. If it goes bad, you need a new one. The thing is there is a waiting list. A lot of other people need a Liver, so we will get her tested and see how qualified she is to get a liver. It could take months maybe even longer to get a new one." He explained.

A bad liver. Months? She cant have a bad liver. We just started getting back on track. I was just starting to have my family. What about Zoey? What about Magcon?

"How may I help you?" I heard a girl say. I looked up to see we were at the counter. "Can I have 1 coffee with French vanilla creamer."  Corey ordered. I looked over the menu for a second before responding. "May I have a Hot chocolate?" I asked. She nodded and typed in the price. "$10.43 please." She said.

I took out my wallet to pay but Corey gave her his work card. "It pays for the coffee. It's free, it doesn't come out of my pay check. It's all cool." Corey smiled down at me. Seriously, this dude is cool. The girl gave him his card back and handed us our drinks. Thanking her, we sat in a near by table.

"How much does the surgery cost?" I asked, truly wanting to know. "Uhm, around $26,000."

Oh Alic. I'm going to be a broke man.
