(Camila's POV)

After telling her friends that she was okay, they left her house and she went straight to bed, trying to get some sleep. She wanted to open her window and check if Lauren was there, but she was too scared. She wanted to go to the rooftop and see if Lauren was there, but she was too scared. She tried her best to keep her sobs quiet. Her parents and Sofie had come home an hour earlier, though they all agreed on not telling them about anything that happened. So she laid in her bed, fetus position, trying to keep her sobs as quiet as possible.

All her lights were off, and the only sound that could be heard was the news in the background. She didn't want her focus to be on Lauren, but she just wanted to see her. Tears fell down her cheeks, as she looked up at the TV.

"Breaking News, we are here at the sight of the latest Spider-Man save. We have been told that this 7/11 was in the middle of a break-in this time-" before the lady finished her statement, she grabbed her remote and turned the TV off. She continued trying to go to sleep, tears falling out her eyes with every blink.

(Lauren's POV)

Waking up was torture. There was actually three people holding that 7/11 down and one of them had actually managed to kick her right in the back. As soon as she tried to get up, she felt the pain shoot through her whole body. It took her a while to just sit up, but after she finally lifted herself from bed, she made her way to her door. As she was reaching over to the doorknob, she took a glance over to her window and saw Camila lifting up her window shades.

She put her hand back down to her side, as her shoulders instantly dropped. Time froze when she met Camila's gaze. They both stayed dead silent, looking each other up and down. Lauren's heart dropped seeing Camila's state. Her skin was more pale than ever and her eyes were puffier than they've ever been. When her eyes fell back on Camila's face, she looked somewhat... empty. She stared at Camila, slightly tilting her head to the side, furrowing her eyebrows, Camila didn't move. Lauren felt her heart drop when Camila just turned around without even blinking at Lauren.

With that, she finally brought her hand to the doorknob and opened her bedroom door. As she was making her way down the stairs, she heard silent sobs coming from the kitchen. She finally made her way down the stairs, and as if her heart hadn't taken enough already, she walked in the kitchen and saw her Aunt Clara crying while trying to cook breakfast. She walked over and snaked her arms around her beloved Aunt's waist. She rested her head on her Aunt's shoulder while her Aunt placed her hand on her heart, jumping slightly.

"Mornin' Auntie" Lauren said quietly, giving her Aunt a kiss on the cheek. She let go of her Aunt to have her normal seat at the table. Sitting down, she took in the realization that her Uncle was gone, permanently. It hit her that her Aunt was most likely crying because it was the first breakfast without Micheal.

"You scared me Laur. I'm sorry. It's just that... it's the first breakfast without Micheal, Laur" her Aunt said, placing breakfast on the table, at the brink of breaking down into tears.

"Hey. Come here, Auntie" Lauren said, standing up from the table and opening her arms to invite her Aunt into a warm embrace. They stayed like that for a little while before they both sat down to eat their first breakfast without Micheal Jauregui.

(Camila's POV)

She felt empty looking at Lauren through the window. She wanted to wave, but something inside of her was making her blood boil looking at Lauren. Her heart still skipped a beat when she saw her, but the memory of Lauren leaving in such a rush to take care of Kate's need came flooding back. She couldn't get Lauren out of her mind last night, but when she saw Lauren through the window, it was as if a brick wall of jealousy came crashing into her.
