(Camila's POV)

As soon as the school made it's way into Camila's window view, she looked over at Lauren and noticed how she immediately tensed. Her hands tightening around the wheel, leg starting to bounce up and down, it wasn't hard to tell that Lauren was nervous.

"Laur?" Camila whispered, placing a comforting hand on the green eyed girl's shoulder. Noticing how Lauren almost instantly relaxed under her touch.

"We don't have to be here" Camila whispered, knowing Lauren would never miss a day of school unless she was practically dead.

"It's okay. I want to be here" Lauren croaked before parking her car in front of the school. Camila slowly took her hand off of Lauren's shoulder, realizing it was time to head into the school.

"I'll get the door" Lauren said to Camila before exiting the car and running over to the passenger side. She opened the car door for Camila, grabbing their book bags from the backseat.

"I can hold your book bag for you" Lauren said to Camila.

God she's so adorable, Camila thought before smiling and shaking her head.

"You don't have to do everything for me, Laur" Camila said, hanging her book bag over her shoulders and intertwining her fingers with Lauren's.

Lauren was quick to get to the school door in order to open it for Camila.

Camila walked into the school and noticed that the hallways were empty. She glanced up at the clock and realized that the students were probably in their second class.

"Do you both need late slips?" a man asked them from the front desk. They both nodded and received their slips from the man, signing a late sheet before walking out into the hallways.

"It's second bell, Laur. I'll see you at lunch" Camila sighed, giving Lauren a hug. Lauren quickly reciprocated the embrace. After a while, Camila finally let go and got on her toes to give the green eyed girl a quick kiss on the cheek.

"I'll see you later" Camila whispered to Lauren before they both headed off to class.

The classes weren't bad so far, the day was going smoothly and it was now time for lunch. Camila was walking to the cafeteria, looking around for Lauren, but didn't find a single trace of her. As Camila was glancing around for Lauren, someone tapped her shoulder.

She turned her attention back to her front, hoping it was Lauren, but was met with two of her friends, Sandra and Marielle Guzman.

"UM, why didn't you tell us about your new boo thang?" Sandra asked Camila, making the brunette furrow her eyebrows, surprised about how they already know.

Probably noticing the confused look on Camila's face, she spoke up again.

"Dinah told us. Now come on, what's her name?" Sandra asked excitedly, making Camila bite her bottom lip and smile just thinking about the green eyed cutie.

"I'll tell you when we get to our table" Camila said, laughing when both her friends let out a sigh.

She walked into the lunch room, with Sandra and Marielle at her side, and made her way to their usual table, still glancing around for any sign of Lauren.

"Camila!" Dinah screamed as soon as she saw the brunette approaching the table.

"Where were you?" the Polynesian asked, standing up from the table, picking up her tray. Camila sat down and Dinah was quick to occupy the seat next to her.
