(Lauren's POV)

She knew her Aunt was beyond disappointed, but she didn't know how to deal with it. She didn't even know how she felt herself. Apart of her was angry from the fact that Austin got less suspension than she did. Apart of her was disappointed in herself too. For the most part though, she felt sad.

There's no other word to describe how she felt other than sad. She's sad because she knew her Uncle would be disappointed. She's sad because she knows her Aunt thinks that she's useless right now. She's sad because Camila, the love of her life, probably thinks she's some kind of monster.

There Lauren was, driving back home, tears messing with her vision. Every time she blinked a new tear would roll down her cheek only to be wiped away. She tried her best to keep the tears from falling, but it was no use.

They were now finally approaching the house. Lauren started to feel herself grow increasingly worried about what her Aunt would say once they got in the house.

The tears stopped falling a while ago, only because tears can no longer form in her eyes. Her eyes were puffy and her nose had a slight tint of red. As they parked their cars in the driveway, Lauren stepped out the car. As she was pressing the button to lock the car, she noticed her hand was now shaking. She glanced over to her left and saw the petite lady stepping down from her car.

She took a deep breath to calm herself down before finally pressing the lock button. She took another glance up and saw her Aunt making her way into the house. As soon as she strapped her book bag loosely over one shoulder, she made her way into the house as well.

As she was walking through the doorway, she looked up and saw her Aunt standing in the hallway with her arms crossed. Lauren knew she wanted to talk. So she placed her book bag down on the floor next to the door.

She looked back up and felt her heart drop, her Aunt had her hand over her mouth as her eyes started to water. Before Lauren could say anything, her Aunt spoke up.

"Look at your eye, Laur" her Aunt whispered through the tears, making Lauren instantly soften.

Lauren expected her to yell, or say she's taking her phone away or something. Instead, her Aunt is just worried about her eye.

"I'm okay Au-"

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT BULLSHIT, LAUREN" her Aunt snapped, cursing for the first time in years. She watched as her Aunt buried her head in her hands, Lauren started shaking her head wanting this all to just stop.

"No, no, no. Please don't cry, Auntie. I'm fine see. Look I'm fine" Lauren reasoned, eyes started to tear up seeing her Aunt cry hysterically into her hands. Lauren watched with teary eyes as her Aunt slowly looked up and made her way over.

Before Lauren could say another word, her Aunt crushed her with a hug.

"Don't do this ever again. Please, Laur. For your Uncle. For me. For Camila. Please don't get in another fight, Laur" her Aunt sobbed into her chest. Lauren was quick to reciprocate the hug, wanting her Aunt to just stop crying as it was starting to get increasingly harder to hold back tears of her own.

"I won't. I promise" Lauren croaked, voice cracking at the end.

"I love you mom" Lauren whispered to her Aunt. As soon as the word left Lauren's mouth, her Aunt lifted her head up. Her Aunt started laughing through the tears as she brought her hand up to brush a strand of hair out of Lauren's face.

"I love you too, Laur" her Aunt whispered back before dropping her head back down to continue the embrace.

(Camila's POV)

Watching Lauren literally almost kill Austin was horrible. Lauren was the nicest person in the world, but today, she almost killed a person. Camila tried her best to push through the crowd, but both the teachers and students were pushing her back. Dinah, Ally, and Normani all tried making their way through as well, but were stopped by teachers telling them to back up.

As the teachers started separating the crowd, Camila stood there with teary eyes, watching Lauren walk into the Office.

Camila had a hard time getting through the day. With all the people talking about the fight, she had a hard time focusing in her classes. She found herself shaking throughout all of her classes. She didn't want to believe what she saw.

Lauren is the single most caring person in the world to Camila, and Camila knew Lauren didn't punch Austin because she was holding back. She saw Lauren soften as soon as the raven haired girl saw the look on Austin's face.

As Camila was driving home, she wandered what Lauren's punishment was and replayed the scene over and over again in her mind.

People at school were saying she got a month of out of school suspension. People were saying she got detention every day for one month. People were saying she's going to juvy, but Camila didn't want to believe any of it until Lauren told her herself.
