(Lauren's POV)

She swung herself and Camila up on the usual rooftop. As she was setting her book bag down, she looked over the ledge and saw that there were cops trying to stop a robber at a nearby convenient store.

"LAUR! WHY AM I UP HE-" Camila whisper yelled, being interrupted when Lauren put her hand over Camila's mouth. Camila instantly tried ripping Lauren's hand off, but to no avail. Lauren brought her index finger up, shushing Camila.

"I'm sorry, I love you. I know putting my hand over your mouth is rude" Lauren whispered, trying to calm Camila down. She could feel Camila trying to yell at her, being muffled by her glove.

"I know, I know. I love you, I'll be back in a second, just stay here" Lauren hastily stated, kissing Camila's cheek before quickly retracting her hand back down to her side.

"LAUREN!" Camila whisper yelled as Lauren ran over to the ledge.

"I know, I know. I gotta go. Bye. I love you!" Lauren said before jumping down the ledge, leaving a frustrated Camila on the rooftop.

As soon as Lauren jumped down, into the alley, she craned her head to get a better view of the scene. The cops were lined outside of the shop, on their knees, as two men in ski masks kept everyone at gun point. Another man in a ski mask was inside the store taking money from the register while pointing his gun at the shop owner. Lauren quickly slung onto the rooftop of the store.

"DUDE, IT'S LIKE ONE MILLION VERSUS THREE RIGHT NOW JUST GANG UP-" Lauren playfully yelled down to the cops, being interrupted when bullets flew in her direction. She jumped down from the rooftop, easily dodging the bullets. As soon as her feet landed on the ground she quickly slung a web and yanked their guns away from them. She quickly looked into the store just in time to sense the bullets flying in her direction. She quickly bent her back and dodged the bullets before yanking the gun away from the man inside the store. As soon as the gun flew past her head, she jumped to her left, dodging a punch from one of the men outside of the store.

"CAN I GET SOME HELP HERE PLEASE!" Lauren yelled to the cops, now having to fight two men at the same time. All the cops instantly stood up and quickly grabbed their guns, pointing them at the robbers.

"PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND GET ON YOUR KNEES!" one of the police men said to the robbers as the rest of the cops pointed their guns at the robbers. As soon as the robbers put their hands on their heads and got on their knees, Lauren ran into an alley and hastily slung onto a rooftop. She squatted on the ledge of the rooftop, watching as the cops handcuffed the robbers before bringing them into the cop cars. As soon as the cops drove off, Lauren looked over to the rooftop Camila was staying at and saw the beautiful brunette. Camila had her arms crossed, looking at the convenient, the wind blowing through her luscious hair as Lauren stared at her with adoration.

Lauren quickly slung closer and closer before she finally landed on Camila's designated rooftop.

"Hey... are you cold?" Lauren asked, grabbing her jacket from her book bag.

Camila stayed in the same position, still looking down at the previously robbed convenient store. Lauren walked behind Camila and tied the sleeves of her jacket loosely around Camila's neck. Camila still didn't change her position but instantly tensed when Lauren wrapped her arms around her waist and laid her head on her shoulder. Camila seemed to pull her arms even tighter to her chest as soon as Lauren touched her, trying to shrug Lauren off.

"Camila, I'm sorry that I left you up here, but I had to" Lauren apologized softly, as if talking too loud would scare Camila off. Lauren knew Camila was upset for leaving her on the rooftop, but she didn't know she was this upset. Lauren lifted her head off of Camila's shoulder as soon as she heard the petite Cuban sniffle. She looked up just in time to see Camila wipe away a tear.

"Hey, look at me" Lauren whispered, placing the palm of her hand on Camila's cheek. Camila's hand instantly flew up to hold Lauren's hand that was resting on her cheek and turned around to face the green eyed girl.

"I'm sorry for leaving you up here" Lauren apologized, worry lacing her voice seeing Camila's eyes tear up.

"Why do you do this, Laur?" Camila asked, caressing Lauren's hand that was still resting on her cheek with her thumb.

"I had to go help the cops, Camz" Lauren whispered, not really understanding what she was so upset about.

"That's not what I mean, Laur... If you get hurt, what am I supposed to do? I don't want anything to happen to you, Laur" Camila uttered, making Lauren's heart break when her voice cracked at the end.

"Come here" Lauren whispered, taking her hand off of Camila's cheek to wrap her in a hug. Camila quickly reciprocated the embrace, resting her head on Lauren's shoulder as Lauren felt the tears soak into her suit.

"Nothing's gonna happen to me, Camz... And hell... if something does happen to me... than I'm gonna need you to hold my hand when I'm in the hospital, Camila... I need you Camzy" Lauren said softly, rubbing Camila's back.

"You're my hero, Camz" Lauren whispered, making Camila let out a small giggle.

"I love you" Camila giggled through the tears, tightening her grip around Lauren's waist.

"I love you more" Lauren said, feeling like she could hold Camila forever.
