~50 Finale~

(Lauren's POV)

Lauren woke up the next morning with a smile on her face. It wasn't often that Lauren would wake up feeling like this. Feeling confident, rejuvenated, content. In fact, it would usually be the exact opposite.

She woke up, pulled the shades up from her window, and sat at her desk with a content sigh. It's a New Year.

The stars are finally aligned. For the longest time, Lauren felt like her life would never succumb to anything greater. When her Uncle passed away, she felt as if her life hit a restart button once again. But not anymore.

She stuffed her suit into her book bag and loosely strapped it over one shoulder, left her Aunt a note, and left the house. The green eyed girl looked around the neighborhood before climbing up to the Cabello's roof, stopping once she was in front of Camila's window. Camila's shades were still in front of the window and she was contemplating whether she should wake Camila up or not.

Deciding that she should probably leave soon, Lauren knocked on Camila's window. After two knocks, she saw the sleepy love of her life lift the shades up. A smile involuntarily popped up on both Camila and Lauren's faces. Like always, Lauren had to help Camila lift up the unstable window.

"Hi. I have to go. I'm sorry for waking you up but I just wanted to say hi" Lauren said quickly, giving Camila a peck on the lips. Just when Lauren was about to leave, Camila grabbed her wrist causing her to turn around.

"I love you" Camila sleepily mumbled before giving Lauren a sweet kiss on the cheek.

"I love you more!" was all that Lauren said before she jumped off of the roof and headed downtown.

There Lauren was, in her Spider-Man suit, on the rooftop.

She sat on the ledge with her feet dangling, thinking about how her life completely turned upside down.

Somewhere in all of that mess, that mess of losing her Uncle, that mess of her high school experience with Austin, that mess of jealousy that she constantly felt whenever Camila was with Austin. Somewhere in all of that mess, Lauren gained everything that she's ever wanted.

Lauren Jauregui, acquaintance of Austin Mahone, girlfriend of her neighbor, Camila Cabello.

Austin Mahone, acquaintance of Lauren Jauregui, ex-boyfriend of Camila Cabello.

Camila Cabello, ex-girlfriend of Austin Mahone, girlfriend of Lauren Jauregui.

Lauren just happens to be the lucky one in this situation.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of police sirens going off. Lauren's feet lifted off the ground in a high leap. Maybe this is the life that Lauren was made for. She's still a nobody, but not to the people that matter.
