(Camila's POV)
When she heard the second knock, she dropped the bed sheets and turned to the window. Honestly, Camila didn't want to see Lauren right now. She was upset with the green eyed girl for leaving her in the morning and she didn't even know what to say. She didn't know how to say that she literally took her virginity and then ran with it, but Lauren kept knocking at the window and she knew she couldn't just leave her out there.
When Camila finally decided to turn her attention to the window, she saw Lauren with her head leaning against the glass of the window. She was honestly slightly surprised when she saw that Lauren wasn't in her Spider-Man suit.
She scanned her up and down and noticed she held her book bag in one hand and a tray of chocolate covered strawberries in the other. Lauren still kept her gaze down with her head leaning on the glass as Camila walked over to open the window.
She tried to think of stuff to say, but couldn't come up with anything. As she reached over to open the window, she looked up and noticed Lauren still had her head on the glass. She slowly lifted the window up as Lauren slightly brought her head off the glass, but still kept her gaze down.
"Laur?" was all Camila said, growing nervous of where this upcoming conversation might lead. She watched with her eyebrows furrowed as Lauren finally lifted her gaze. They're eyes locked and Camila felt herself starting to slowly get lost in the galaxy that is Lauren's eyes.
There was a small moment of silence as they just got lost in each other's eyes before Lauren spoke up.
"Can I come in?"
Camila didn't want to let her in again. She didn't want to even see Lauren right now, let alone let the girl back into her bedroom. Before she could respond, Lauren stepped through her window and instantly fell to her hands and knees.
"Laur!?! What's wrong?" Camila asked, worry evident in her tone. She watched Lauren's every move as she slowly turned to lay on her back. Lauren lifted her shirt over her stomach and Camila's eyes widened when she saw three long scratch marks running across Lauren's side to her stomach.
"Oh my god, Laur. What happened?" Camila was still angry with her but she couldn't help but feel worried.
"A-um-what are they called... A-uh-dog jumped on me and them-uh-I didn't want to hurt it so I just let it scratch me and then I ran away" Lauren stuttered, sweat beads starting to form on her forehead.
"How much does it hurt on a scale from one to ten?" Camila asked, getting on her knees to inspect the cut. It wasn't deep but it looked like it hurt a lot.
Lauren didn't respond, she just sat up and placed the palm of her hand on Camila's cheek. Camila felt frozen as she stared into her eyes. She wanted to smack her hand off, but she just couldn't.
"I'm sorry" Lauren sighed, voice cracking near the end. At first, Camila had no idea what she was talking about but then she quickly stood up, remembering what Lauren did.
"Lauren... you took my virginity and you weren't even there when I woke up" Camila uttered, starting to feel the tears form in her eyes. She kept her gaze planted on her feet as Lauren stood up in front of her.
"Austin and you never-"
"No, Laur. That's why we broke up" Camila whispered, cutting her off.
"Even if it wasn't my first time, you should've been there" Camila uttered, feeling a hot tear roll down her cheek. Lauren quickly reached up and wiped it away with the pad of her thumb.
"I'm sorry, Camz. I didn't want to leave, I swear" Lauren whispered. Camila didn't know how to respond. She took a moment to try and figure out what to say before taking a deep breath.
"Why'd you leave me, Laur?" Camila asked, feeling another tear roll down her cheek. She didn't want Lauren to wipe it away like she did with the last. She didn't want Lauren to make her heart flutter. But Lauren did anyways as she reached up and wiped the tear off of Camila's cheek.
"Stop, Laur" Camila whispered, placing her hand over Lauren's wrist as Lauren wiped the tear away.
"Stop what?"
"Just stop being so sweet to me, Laur. You took my virginity and ran with it" Camila stated, more so trying to convince herself to realize what she did than Lauren.
"I heard the police sirens, Camz. I didn't want people to get hurt-"
"WELL YOU HURT ME, LAUR!" Camila snapped as she slapped Lauren's hand off her cheek, feeling her blood boil when Lauren let out that last statement. She knew Lauren's intentions were good but she couldn't help but feel upset that Lauren cares about others' feelings more than her own girlfriends' feelings.
"I know" Lauren whispered. Camila wiped another tear off of her cheek with the back of her hand before returning her gaze back to Lauren.
"What?" was all Camila could say. She didn't know what to make of what Lauren said. She just wanted Lauren to apologize and leave but all she said was, I know.
"I know that I'm not good enough for you, Camz. I know that our relationship is just a failure waiting to happen because I'm not good enough for you. I know that there's probably a million other people in the world that can give you what you need and will treat you like the princess that you are. But I'm trying, Camz. I've loved you for the longest time and now that you and I are together, I want us to work. It's hard to balance Spider-Man and Lauren but I want Lauren to be here for you. I'm trying, Camz" Lauren said with a shaky voice making Camila furrow her eyebrows with confusion as her girlfriend spoke, knowing that no one in the world could top how sweet Lauren is to her.
"I'll figure it out, Camz. I promise" Lauren finished, head down as he gaze stayed planted on the floor.
Camila couldn't speak. She didn't know what to say after Lauren just gave a speech like that. She didn't even know how to feel. All she could do was wrap her arms around Lauren's waist and fall into the embrace.
"By the way, these chocolate covered strawberries costed 50 bucks" Lauren whispered before giving Camila a small kiss on the cheek as Camila laughed through the tears.
Soon after, Camila let go of the hug to give Lauren a soft kiss on the lips. As if to say, I forgive you.
