Remus stepped towards Harry. His wand clenched tightly in his hand while his other arm shoves Sirius behind him.
"Excuse me, who are you?" He asks cautiously.
"Remus, Sirius, you might want to sit down for this." Harry replies, walking past them to the living room.
Remus and Sirius walk cautiously behind him, taking a seat on the couch closest to the door.
"Who are you?" Remus asks again.
"While I was in Diagon Ally today, I stopped by Gringotts as I had my suspicions that I had been lied to. I went through the process and as I read my life details, my thoughts were confirmed. I am in fact, not James Potter's son. I am Lily's though. While Lily and James were together, Lily cheated on him with Severus Snape. She got pregnant and claimed it was James's. Once she gave birth, she had to cover up the fact that I was clearly not James's son. So, she placed a glamour on me. One that I had the goblins remove today. I am making the assumption that Severus has no idea that he has a son. But I do intend to tell him. I'd just like to know how you both would like to go about this. Obviously it's going to change some things now that I do have a biological parent who is alive, but I'm unsure how to go about this."
Remus and Sirius stare in shock. A silence settles over the room, before Harry breaks it by clearing his throat. The two men compose themselves before making a decision.
"I do think that it's best that we pay your father a visit before deciding anything." Remus suggests.
Harry nods and walks over to the now standing men. He links arms with Remus and they apparate to outside what Harry assumes is Severus's home. The house was plain. Just a square brick house, identical to all the houses surrounding it. Remus knocked on the door and they waited. The door swung open to reveal Severus, his attire the same as what he wears during the school year. The frown on his face deepens as he looks between Remus and Sirius. Confusion laces his eyes as his gaze reaches Harry.
"What are you doing here?" He asks, his voice a perfect monotone.
"We need to talk to you." Remus replies.
Snape steps aside, gesturing for the three to step inside. Harry looks around, his eyes taking in the interior. The walls are lined with books. All of which seem to have blue, brown or black spines. Harry notices the lack of photos, the entire house seems so impersonal. They all take a seat in the living area.
"What do you wish to talk to me about that couldn't be discussed in a letter?"
Remus, Sirius and Harry look at each other, trying to decide who should explain.
"You're my father." Harry blurts out before slapping his hands over his mouth.
"Good one, Harry. That was some great explaining." Sirius mumbles.
"What?! Is that you Harry?!" Severus shouts.
Harry nods and Severus jumps up and begins to pace.
"What? How? Explain."
Harry sits there, explaining the entire story, just as he had done with Sirius and Remus earlier. Severus keeps pacing, a look of complete and utter shock on his face. Once Harry is done, Severus collapses into the armchair he was occupying previously.
"I'm a father?" He whispers.
Harry just nods.
"I have a son?"
Harry just nods again.
Severus stands up and strides towards Harry. He pulls him up off the couch and hugs him. He buries his face into Harry's head and lets a few tears escape. A few tears form into huge sobs.
"I have a son. You're my son. Thank you Lily for giving me a son. You have her eyes. I can't believe it. This is the best news I've ever had." Severus sobs into Harry's hair.
Harry just stands there, hugging his father tightly. Happiness clouds his thoughts, until one thought wipes the happiness away. He pulls away from Severus and looks between his biological father and his adopted ones. Severus subtly wipes the tears from his eyes and composes himself again.
"How is this going to work?" Harry asks.
"How is what going to work?" Sirius replies.
"This! I've been living with you two for so long now! You're my adopted parents! And that was wonderful because I thought both my parents were dead! But now I've found out who my real biological father is and he's alive! Who am I meant to live with? Who's surname do I have? And Albus cannot find out abo-"
"Why can't Albus find out about this?" The three men ask.
Harry mentally slaps himself. How could he let this happen? There's only one option for him, and that is to explain.
"You're all going to want to be seated for this. Now, I don't know how you are all going to take this, but I guess it's something I have to explain. So, when I was younger and asked you two how my mother and James died, you explained to me what you knew. And what you both knew, is what the world knows. But, you're description of Voldemort and the man I see in my memories are not the same. But I just ignored it. So the first night at Hogwarts, I was sitting at the Slytherin table looking at the teachers. Then I saw the man who killed my mother. And that person is none other than the famous Albus Dumbledore. Who just so happened to be the person who told the world what happened that night. Voldemort doesn't exist. He is in fact just a normal wizard that Dumbledore felt threatened by. So he made the man out to be the darkest wizard of all and then killed him so that the story would add up."
Harry paused, making the decision that he wouldn't tell them about Tom yet. Suddenly, all three men jumped up and smothered Harry in a hug.
"I can't believe it! How could he do such a thing?!" "We need to come up with a plan!" "He cannot know. Not yet anyway." The three men all said over the top of each other.
"Well, what I am thinking is that, as much as it will pain me, Harry keeps the surnames he has. He will continue to live with you and will have a glamour on while he's at Hogwarts. I will come and visit as often as possible when he's on holidays. He's highly skilled at legilimency and occlumency, so keeping his mind safe from Albus wont be an issue. And he will be able to tell if Albus starts suspecting anything at all." Severus explains.
"I have to agree. We don't want Albus finding out about this at all. So that plan sounds like it will work. I would like to request some father son time once we are back at Hogwarts though. It shouldn't be too hard to sneak around considering I am in Slytherin. Thankfully, no one will suspect anything if I go and see you." Harry agrees.
Severus's mouth turns up into a small smile as he nods.
"I'd like that."
"We'd best be off. It's getting late." Remus states.
Harry gives Severus a hug before linking arms with Sirius. The three apparate out of Severus's home, leaving him standing there with a small smile on his face. As soon as they arrive home, Harry runs back into the library to resume his research. His brain focusing on two things. The first: find a ritual to get Tom's body back. The second: take Dumbledore down.
