Josh's POV
MISSING
*edited*

"We are going to be late." I said to Callum, deadpan. Callum who is refusing to unlock the door until he finishes eating his burrito.

"It's for a good reason." He says, staring at his burrito as if it's the most beautiful thing in the world.

The warning bell sounds as Callum continues to bite into his burrito.

"Open the door or I'm breaking the window."

At the mention of damaging his poor car, Callum stuffs his burrito in his mouth before unlocking the door and swallowing his food down so hard I could practically see it moving down his esophagus.

He shuffles out of the car, hiking his backpack up his shoulders as he groans.

"Who even gives a damn about school?" He asks as he looks desperately at me, practically begging me to let him go home.

I roll my eyes, grabbing his arm and dragging him towards school.

"I care about you actually being able to graduate." I say, finally getting him to walk with me and letting his arm go.

Callum mumbles something under his breath but I didn't catch it.

I hurry through the walls, practically running as Callum doesn't even struggle to keep up with me.

We had basically the same schedule, the only difference was, he took PE after lunch and I took Computer Science.

I wouldn't classify myself as a nerd, I would, however, classify myself as un-athletic. I couldn't run, I couldn't throw a dodge ball, and more importantly I always got really bad sides aches.

Callum and I made it into class with 2 minutes to spare.

I looked over to Callum who sat next to me.

"You're still eating your burrito?" I ask in shock at Callum's chipmunk cheeks.

"You rushed me." He says in an accusing voice, fighting more down his throat as he swallows.

I shake my head and glance around the room at all the girls staring intently at Callum who is still chewing his fricking burrito.

Did I mention Callum was popular? I'm sure I did.

And the reason why? He didn't give a damn about them. But don't get him wrong, I'm not saying 'sleeps with them once and then dumps them' I'm saying, he never takes interest in the girls that flirt with him or smile at him. He's polite towards them, but if they get on his nerves he's not hesitant to tell them to fuck off.

Most girls find him attractive, but then you have that group of girls that don't find him attractive and instead want to be the one to 'steal his heart' and then break it.

Like the ones in books, the sarcastic 'oh fuck You' type that end up stealing the guys heart and falling in love, having a few bumps in the road and then it's happily ever after. That group.

I never got as much attention as him, in fact, the most attention I got was questions about him. It never made me jealous though. I wonder if that's because I don't even like girls.
