Josh's POV
Family Troubles

Callum sat on my couch as I walked downstairs, he fed himself grapes as if he was king.

"What are you-"

"Shhh." Callum says, holding up his finger and waving me off.

"Why-"

"Shhh!" He said, this time more demanding.

I shut my mouth, watching in confusion as he nodded.

He takes another bite of his grape as he 'listens' to something.

And then it occurs on me, "Did you just tell me to be quiet so I wouldn't talk?" I ask, crossing my arms.

I watch as Callum's lips tilt into a cocky smile and he lets out a 'tsk' noise. "What?" He drags out, "Why would I do that?" Callum asks, finally opening his eyes and meeting mine.

I roll my eyes, "People from miles would pay to hear my voice." I defend myself as Callum rolls his eyes.

"Yeah, on your deathbed so it can go under 'world's most annoying voice on earth' but you wouldn't know." He says back.

"Sometimes, you don't even make sense." I say, walking into the kitchen.

I faintly heard him mumble 'your mom doesn't even make sense'

Wow, what a great comeback

Grabbing some orange juice and a Juice Box for Callum, I walk back in there seeing Callum scroll through the TV channel.

"Do you wanna watch 90 day fiancé?" Callum asks, sending me a glance.

"I have no Idea what that is- wait a second, what are you even doing in my house?" I ask, scrunching up my eyebrows.

He shrugs, "I've been here for a good 3 hours. You just haven't left your room." He says, reaching for the juice box in my hand like a little kid. Then he paused before scoffing, "Also I've been your friend forever, I think I have Callum privileges on just entering whenever I feel."

"Three hours? So you were here while my parents were here?" I ask, handing the juice to him and rounding the couch, sitting two cushions away from him.

Callum nods his head, "I even helped them make breakfast but nooo little Joshy Washy was too sleepy to have breakfast." Callum says in a mock bitter voice.

It was Saturday again, and school all week was boring. I didn't see Callum much because, for some reason, he didn't go to school, but we did text.

At school I sat by myself on the bleachers during lunch because I didn't have Callum to let me sit with him and the 'cool' kids like he always does.

"Craner called again, he was drunk and kept ranting on and on about how I was the best cousin in the world. Then he asked how I was and then he asked how you were and then he hung up." Callum says, placing another grape into his mouth.

"That sounds like an eventful talk." I say, sitting on the other couch and watching as Callum continue to scroll through the Tv, obviously not feeling '90 day fiancé' anymore.
