"Its a long story." He says looking at the flannel wearing boy with pain in his eyes.
"I've got time." Jughead says with a grin.
"My mom and dad put me in a prep school in eighth grade. They were wealthy at the time. I got really good at singing and dancing. But when my dad got sick my mom went broke paying for his bills. Eventually my dads Alzheimer's got worst and he passed. Well things got worse and my mom couldn't afford my school but she refused to take me out. So I did something super stupid to her kicked out" James says fixing his fedora on his head avoiding eye contact. He didn't tell people personal things. It made him uncomfortable but he trusted Jughead he wasn't sure why.
"What did you do?" Jughead ask with pitty.
"I got into a fight with the lacrosse jocks. They beat my ass. But four on one isn't a fair fight." PJ says with a smug look.
"Oh my lord your an idiot." Jughead snorts.
"Yeah well my mothers ego was to big to admit it helped us. I'm willing to lose my future for her." James says finally looking into Jughead's eyes.
"Its not over. We are still sophomores. Meaning we got two more years to leave a mark. I promise you I'll even help if you need it to get in a school or whatever. " Jughead rambles.
