"I'm doing it." Cheryl marches through the hallway to PJ's locker. He turns around with a confused look.

"Cheryl half the hallway is staring." He whispers smiling at the people staring.

"I'll dance for the clubs shows. " Cheryl repeats quieter.

"You sure?" PJ ask grabbing the strap to his book bag.

"No I'm not what of Toni finds out and gets mad?" Cheryl sighs falling into James arms. James catches her patting her back.

"There there." PJ said awkwardly.

"Betty's says I should go for it. But my horoscope says that 'a heartbreak is in my future of lies." James sets the girl up straight with a smile.

"Well i love the girl but Betty thinks if you unscrew your belly button your butt falls off so I wouldn't exactly trust her opinion. And horoscopes are hoax trust me if you think Toni would dump you then don't do it. But in my opinion if she breaks up with you it's her lost." James reasons and Cheryl nods.

"Have you talked about it with her?" James

"No I plan to keep it a secret. " Cheryl says and James face palms himself.

"This seems like a bad idea don't you think? This seems like some major couple issues in the mix. " James tries to argue but it wasn't working.

"I'm doing it. What's the worst that can happen." Cheryl says starting to back away.

"Now Cheryl that's what everyone in horror movies say before the  zombie slurps their brains." James says but Cheryl was s already walking a away.

"I tried." He sighs leaning against his locker.

Jughead sat at the lunch table with Toni. They were lawyss the first to arrive.

"Coach Lee is different." Jughead says nodding to the man at the vending machine he had on the schools gym shirt and Nike sweatpants.

"Different yeah but we don't start practice for another two months. I haven't really interacted with him. Spring practice will be the first real coaching he will be doing." Toni says and Jughead nods acting like he understood what she was stalking about.

"Um yeah uh huh." Jughead says taking a bite of his pizza.

"Hi I'm Mackenzie Shane!" The new girl from the other day says walking up to the table.

"Cool." Jughead nods and Toni shoots him a warning look. The girl wore a dinosaur  sweater with a short black skirt and knee socks. Her hair was straight and to one side of her shoulder.

"Um Toni topaz." Toni gives a friendly smile.

"I'm new here. " she says sitting down beside Jughead. Jughead just looks at her with a small glare.

"So are you looking for new friends?" Toni ask and the girl laughs.
" no of course not.  the need to find another human being to share ones life with,has always puzzled me maybe I'm so interesting by my self." The girl says and Toni snorts as Jughead d shakes his head in agreement.

" then no offense why are you over here?" Jughead ask and the girl offers a smile.

"Because even if I'm not going to care about your intellectual beings when I own the 7 continent's I do need to talk to people why I'm in highschool it helps ones mind grow." Mackenzie says and Jughead and Toni share an odd look.

"What were you guys talking about"  she hums

Cheryl, James, Betty, and veronica head to the table short after.

" a new one? I barely like James and you go and find another one"veronica pouts glaring at Mackenzie.

" I like her she agreed to be on my news news show." Betty says giddily. 

"Which by the way has 700 views that's half the school." James says holding Jughead hand under the table so no one could see. Jughead smiled to himself.

Cheryl rested her head on Toni shoulder as veronica and Betty just sat there awkwardly.

"Um anyways I'm mac-"

"Mackenzie Shane we know." Everyone says at the same time.

"Gee you all are on edge." Mackenzie says furrowing her eyebrows.

"It can't kill us to meet new people Ron." Betty says bumping her shoulder.

" For the record, it could kill us to meet new people. They could be murderers or the carriers of unusual pathogens. And I'm not insane, my mother had me tested." Mackenzie says and veronica nods agreeing.

"She gets it." Veronica says.
