"First we have to deal with lesbo mc gaypants now captain gay himself?" Ryan says scoffing at James.

"We can handle topaz but not you." Shane says getting up in his face. James gulps before clenching his fist.

"Well everyone's able to tryout Shane McDonald so shut your ass up." Reggie groans walking up stepping in between the two.

"I bet he's gonna bedazzle the jerseys." Ryan snorts and a couple player laugh.

"Or break out into song when we lose." Shane jokes and a guy steps in between the whole conversation.

"Listen guys just because he's gay doesn't mean he can't play." A boy with light brown hair says. His eyes a light blue and his skin pale.

"And whomst the fuck are you? " Reggie ask confused.

Toni looks at the guy with furrowed eyebrows.

"Oh I'm Shawn. I uh... I'm new." He says shyly.

"We lost chuck and  Jason Chang last year I'm more than sure we need new guys" Archie says trying to calm everyone down. 

The coach clears his troat and everyone goes silent. Toni watches as the coach looks at everyone gathered around. He had sun glasses on and his arms crossed the assistant coach holding a clip board.

"Shane Ryan as of right now  your off my team your positions are second string until you tryout." The coach announces making eye contact with James.

"What the hell! We've never tried out we just were always on the team." Ryan complains throwing his hands up.

"Maybe that's why we lost every game till topaz showed up. I'm tired of all the shirt you two talk when you both can't even make a block. Now everyone line up!" Coach Lee says clapping his hands to get peoples attention.

Jughead walked the hall his jean jacket cleaning to his body his head held high. His beanie on his head and a red flannel around his waist. The pack of cigarettes in his pocket. He looked at the girls who were giggling and waving he just smirks and continues to walk. He wasn't sure if he was gay or bi. James had talked about him being bisexual since he still found girls attractive.

He walked up to his locker opening it when someone walked up beside him. "Jughead 'badass' Jones" sweet pea says pulling at his leather jacket.

Jughead rolls his eyes before turning to him.

"Can I help you sweet pea?" Jughead snarls eyeing the taller boy. "No actually I came to help you." Sweet pea says and Jughead raises an eyebrow.

"You gonna give me a tutorial on how to be a lonesome loser?" Jughead snorts and sweet pea just ironically laughs.

"Funny. But no you've seemed to have that down pack. I came to get your groove back ever since you've been hanging with the Cuban boy and his friends you've lost our cool." Sweet pea says shoving Jugheads shoulder. Jughead looks at his hand and sweet pea moves his hand away.

"I'm fine thanks." Jughead closes his locker putting his book bag back on.

"No your not. You used to toilet paper the principals house. You even switched the men and women bathroom sign in Walmart. Cmon Jones tonight hang with me and fangs. For old times sake?" Sweet pea says with a pleading smile.

"I'll be there." Jughead says before walking off.

"So Betty you ever think about algebra? " Ben says putting his arm above Betty's head leaning against her locker.
