A/N: Chapter title inspired by 'Walk' by Pantera. Such an awesome song :). Sorry it's taken so long. I also just wrote it today :). I've been so awfully busy with soccer, which sucks a lot...

"Man, I can't believe we're actually go on with this," I told Colby.

"We HAVE to do this, though. What he did is wrong and he has to know that." Colby said.

When we busted in, we found that the door had stupidly been unlocked. And, guess who I found by Randy? Kim! Aaahh!

Good thing they weren't in the nude though, because that, I guaran-damn-tee you that it would've made me 26273844022310x times more mad. Which is not good at all for Randy, not good at all.

"RANDY! What the hell are you doing with this skank?" I yelled.

"Oh, she's just a friend. Don't worry." he said. Lying through his teeth, huh?

"DON'T YOU LIE TO MY FACE, YOU BASTARD!"

Before I knew it, and eminently unexpectedly, Jon busts in and starts pummeling Randy. Marina just walks in like she knows her role in this situation, contrary to Kim, who's screaming and yelling. I don't quite know what I'm doing? And yes, that is intentionally phrased as a question.

Once Randy and Jon are done with their little fighting session, it looks like Jon is whispering something to Randy, but I can't quite decipher it.

Oh, now I know my role. I'm supposed to yell. "KIM! GET THE HELL OUT!"

She quickly scrams out, followed by Marina and Jon walking out. Colby stays.

"Randy, never cheat on me. Why were you even doing this in the first place?" I say. No answer.

"You screwed up big time, you know that?" Colby asks Randy.

"Yes, I know. I'll never do it again." Randy finally says.

"Tell me now, how can I trust you, if you're going off and doing that stuff?" I ask.

"How do you even know?" Randy asks.

"Don't you lie! You told me about stupid Kim!" Colby says.

"Plus, when you were sleeping, yeah, your phone vibrated, and you got a text from some Kim. And, it told me a lot. Not only that, but I saw your message exchange. You could say, it leads to a definite conclusion. Have you ever thought about how Alanna would feel if she found out about this?" I say.

"Do you even ever think about how anyone else but yourself feels?" Colby asked.

"Of course I think about people besides myself. I definitely think about Alanna. Listen, I know I screwed up... REALLY BAD, I guess I just didn't think it through." Randy says.

"Do you know, how sad, and furious, I felt when saw those texts?" I said.

"Uh--" Randy said.

I cut him off. "I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK! I was heartbroken, I was devastated, I was enraged, all sorts of things..."

We were all silent for about 2 minutes before I spoke up again. "You know what, I don't care anymore. Here's your stupid ring,"

Colby gave me a look that said, 'Are you sure? Isn't this just a bit drastic?' I shook my head yes and he and I went to my apartment, ate some ice cream, and reeled off about our problems in heartbreak.

Eventually, he had to leave, and I dozed off.

When I woke up, I was totally out of it, and I had slept for like, two hours. I checked my phone to see what time it was. 23:00hours (11 pm). I saw my notifications, and I had one message from Randy, received one hour ago. It said, 'Please come back... I really miss you, and I've been thinking. Can you please give me a second chance? I promise I'll make it up to you.'

I don't know... should I? I was on Twitter for about a half hour, and then I spent another ten minutes thinking.

I just called Alanna... she does have her own phone, right? Six year olds shouldn't have phones. I just called her house and she answered.

"Yeah? Who is it?" she answered in her cute little voice.

"Oh, hey, Alanna, it's me-- Gloria."

I could see her light up as she heard that.

"It is?! YES! What's up?" she finally said.

"So... I have some bad news to tell you,"

"Really? I thought only Bad News Barrett told bad news."

"Well... he's not, so... anyway, your dad... he, um, cheated on me..." Did I screw up? Was it too early to tell that to little Alanna? I don't know. Too late.

"WHAT?! How could he? Who's that witch he did that to you with so I can go over and slap them both!"

"Thing is... I gave him back the ring,"

"The... the engagement ring?!"

"Yes,"

"What?! Oh my gosh, daddy really messed up. I'm so sad."

"He texted me if I can come over, and if I can give him a second chance, and that he'll make it up to me,"

"Just go see him early, like in the morning, or something. Anyways, I have to be sleeping right now. Love you, bye."

"Love you too, sleep tight,"

"Don't let the bed bugs bite," she continued.

"OK, Alanna, bye!" I laughed. She hung up, and I went to sleep.
