XII- Match + Other Stuff

Time passes, and soon, I'm called up for my match. Now this ring gear serves a purpose!

I'm kind of nervous being versus Emma, especially because she's one of my favorites.

By the time the bell rings, I'm like, just bring it. I start out with some knee kicks. When she's bending down in pain, I go on my knees and slap her. Yes, like Goldust.

She gets mad and just as she's about to slap me back, I catch her forearm and counter with a Russian leg sweep. I go in for the pin now that she's down, but she kicks out at 1. She's good. I flop her around to get her in Sheamus' Clover Leaf. She crawls out, to my dismay, touching the ropes. Dang. I really need to get my head in the game. She gets back on her feet, and launches the clothesline at me, but I duck down. I catch her, put her in the fireman carry, slam her forward, give her a knee kick, ultimately GTSing her. I pin her again, and just as I think I've got the win, she kicks out at 2 and a half. I thought I had it! I got too distracted though, because she puts me in the Emma Lock, to which I have to tap out to. I kinda feel bad for her, because a third of the crowd is booing, the other is cheering while doing her little arm dance, and the other third don't even know what. I already left the ring. Steph texts me and she says she saw that I lost. But on RAW, she'll let me have another match, and this time against Eva. No! She's... one of my friends.

Marina, being the oh-so supportive sister she is, keeps reminding me of my loss to Emma. I end that by saying that Emma can actually wrestle.

Because I'm bored, I go hang out with Stephen, and luckily he doesn't have a match tonight.

"Hey, so why the sudden interest me?" I ask Stephen.

   "I don't know... maybe because you're new, and I think you're different."

"What do you mean I'm different?"

"I don't know how to explain it. You seem like the most interested after my promos and wins in my matches or interviews."

   "And who told you that?"

   "Your sister."

"Ugh! I knew she was not to be trusted!"

"You're only saying that out of anger,"

   "I know."

"So, what I'm wondering is, are you gonna stay single?"

"Again with that. I know, I'm sorry. I know you're wondering, and it's not just you who I need to tell that soon I may be off the singles list."

"Oh. Who are you going to date then?"

   "I was thinking maybe Dean?"

"Seems like a good idea. Who else do you need to tell though, that you're not single anymore?"

"Wade. Another good male friend of mine."

"Wow. Do you have more male friends, or female friends?"

"It evens out, you know. Just that I have more MALE friends that I TRUST."

   "I see."

"Yup. I think you'd laugh when I try to hold a conversation with one of my female friends."

"And what makes you think that?"

"Well, besides my sister, of course. I think you'd laugh because whenever I do talk with a girl, it's mainly about men."

"I understand. And it's normal, especially with so many muscular, shirtless men around here."

"Haha, you know what I'm saying. Well, at least, will you be at peace knowing that now you're one of my trusted friends? Because I will in no way be at peace if I'm making you sad, or discouraged, from obtaining a relationship."
