**Gloria's POV**
Marina's been showing me videos on YouTube of Jon is his indie days, as Jon Moxley. I think she has another last-minute plan for me. She says that the thing with Nick might not work, and that maybe I should date Randy. Who knows what's going on in that mind of hers? What I think is I should probably just go in, just date Jon already. But am I ready? Dunno.
And then she showed me this vid of Bryan Danielson (D-Bry's real name and his ring name in ROH) versus Tyler Black (Colby's/Seth's ring name in ROH). Bryan won. It was awesome, they wrestled like they wouldn't in WWE.
We're finally at the show, and I don't even know what. I'm just gonna change into my ring gear. Good thing I brought it.
I'm just gonna watch the show backstage until they call me up.
As I'm doing so, probably forty minutes into it, Stephen sits next to me, telling me he has to talk to me. I ask if he thinks this is the best time to do so now that they might call me up at anytime. He says it's only gonna be real quick. I say OK.
So, we go to someplace else, just walking around the halls.
"Ok, so what did you want to tell me?" I ask Stephen, assuming we're far enough.
"Uh, when are we gonna hang out?" he asks.
"What do think... tonight or tomorrow?" I ask.
"OK, works. But I'm wondering: are you still single?"
"Yeah, just... you know. Boy troubles. Or should I say, MAN troubles."
"Ah, I see. Normal, now that you're just beginning to settle into this crazy work environment."
"Tell me about it," I laugh. "OK. See ya," I say, running back to see the show.
Some other people are watching backstage. Including my sister. I sit next to her. "Hey, did I miss anything? Have they called me up or anything?"
"Yeah, they're still waiting for you." says Marina.
My eyes get as wide as saucers. "REALLY?!"
"No, no. Take a joke, G."
"You fricken suck, you know that?"
"I get that all the time," she says, trying to annoy me. In which she never fails, of course.
"Shut up," I say.
At about the hour and a half mark, Steph calls me out.
I walk out with a mic, but I have no theme yet. So, I just run up to the ring like that. I should probably mention I tweeted Nero on Wednesday and they gave me permission to use their song for my theme, as long as I paid him the royalties.
"Gloria, we've called you out to officially make you a Diva." Steph says.
"I would've guessed,"
She gives me a look that says 'f**k off.' Sometimes, I gotta admit: she is quite intimidating.
"OK. So, have you picked a song to be your theme, one whose artist you'll pay royalties to?" Steph says.
"Yeah, it's Doomsday by Nero. If you recall, the theme for your 2014 Elimination Chamber."
"Yes, I do remember. Now, can you sign the contract?"
"Yeah, just give me a second to skim through it."
She nods.
"OK, done. Guess I'll... just sign. Oh, and wait. It also mentioned that I have to have a match with someone the night I sign."
"Yes. You'll have a match versus Emma, later tonight."
"Uh, OK. Deal. Thanks."
I walk away, and go hang out in my sister's locker room. New Divas Paige and Zoey (from Diva Forever) are there. I like Zoey because she's more like Punk than I could ever be. Like, yes, I dated him. Yes, he cheated on me. But, that doesn't mean I stopped liking him as a wrestler.
Paige, I like her because she's different.
We talk about boys, and Marina talks about Colby. I talk about Jon. And of course we refer to them by their ring names. Marina pops her fingers, despite me telling her not to.
Anyway, the girls say they like the idea of both of us dating Hounds. They're very supportive.
Soon though, Marina is called up to Steph's office to discuss a possible storyline between Marina and Colby, simultaneously being linked to yet another possible storyline between Jon and I. Let me tell you, it is very hard to take Jon seriously after seeing him in his Moxley days.
I think it's a good idea. I mean, knock yourself out Steph. She says it's Creative's idea. Those people are crazy, but they can stir up some pretty good entertainment.
