I stomped down the beach near the water, kicking up the surf in my aggressive walk.
I didn't know why I was so angry, and angry at Optimus. He had done nothing to deserve my aggression, but I'd gone off on him anyway.
Still, that one word that Predaking had said rang through my processors like a bell.
'Pregnant...pregnant...pregnant...'
I stopped and touched my stomach. Was I really carrying sparklings? Sure Optimus and I had been planning on it, but sometimes these things didn't work, more often now that the War had caused heavy pollution. And I had been afraid that being a former goddess would pose as a problem.
"How much sooner?" an angelic voice asked me.
I turned around to see Lightpath sitting on a rock. It was truly a joy to see one of my friends again.
"Lightpath," I grinned, then frowned,"Where's Darkpath?"
"At your realm," Lightpath replied, then tilted her helm to the side,"How much longer until they arrive?"
I touched my stomach again,"It's only been a month and a day. At the least I can say eight more months. That's the regular maternity level for femmes isn't it?"
Lightpath nodded,"For regular femmes, yes. For you...sooner."
I frowned,"Why sooner?"
"Your reproductive systems work much quicker, being a goddess," Lightpath explained,"I think not eight more months. I think two or three more."
My intake dropped open,"But...how? I'm no longer a goddess I gave up my powers to be with Optimus."
Lightpath stood and walked to stand in front of me. She reached out and held my cheeks in her servos, looking down at me tenderly.
"Not even our sire possesses the ability to strip us of our abilities, Chardirakii," she said, her optics warm and kind,"You still have your powers, in here."
She removed a servo from my cheek to press it against my chest-plate above my spark.
"You are still a goddess, Chardirakii," Lightpath continued,"But a goddess of a Prime now."
I smiled and chuckled lightly,"Lightpath, I am goddess of no one."
"You are bonded to Optimus Prime, yes?" Lightpath asked, to which I nodded,"Then he is your god, and you are his goddess."
I blinked in realization, then blushed,"Apologies, sister. Time as a mortal has made my processors slow."
"Not slow. You have always been one of the youngest, Chardirakii, you still have much to learn," Lightpath said, beginning to fade away,"The day recedes. I must depart from this world now. Keep in mind my words, Chardirakii. You are capable of more than you know."
I quickly hugged my sister, then stepped back and watched her fade like a sunbeam fades as clouds pass over it.
I looked down at my stomach, then smiled, holding my servo on top of it. If I looked close enough, there was a small bump for certain.
I was going to be a carrier. A real carrier! And Optimus...he was going to be the sire.
My anger was lost in a flood of pure joy. I wanted to run all the way to Optimus, leap into his arms and tell him the good news.
But my more mischievous side decided to keep it a secret until the last minute.
With a more joyful spring in my step, I started walking back to our cave.
Once I got there, I expected to see Optimus sitting at the entrance like usual.
He wasn't there.
"Optimus?" I called, stepping in.
My ped crunched on something, and I looked down to see dried red rose petals creating a trail deeper into the cave.
Confused, I followed the trail of petals, all the way to the large energom chamber we'd discovered.
Optimus was still laying out petals when I walked in, sprinkling them from a basket with his digits.
I leaned against the wall and watched him curiously. He'd never done this before.
Optimus set down the basket, then went into a corner and came back with a pile of large blankets, laying them down over a smooth, flat rock. He was creating a type of berth it seemed.
He picked up the basket again and emptied the last of the petals over it.
"Okay okay, everything has to be perfect," I heard him mutter, his back-plates to me.
"What are you doing?" I asked finally.
Optimus whirled around faster than I'd ever seen him spin before, then tripped over the basket, crushing by accident and falling on his aft in the sand.
"Ch-Chardirakii...I was just waiting for you," he stammered, getting back to his peds.
"I uh...can see that," I stated, stepping into the chamber,"What is it?"
"Well, you seemed to be pretty angry earlier so I thought...maybe a romantic dinner would be helpful?" Optimus explained, fiddling with his digits.
I smiled and walked over to him, setting my servos on his chest-plate,"A dinner, or is it really something else you want?"
Optimus blushed and I leaned forwards, bumping my dermas against his chin in a light, teasing kiss.
"Have you already forgotten what happens when you do that?" he asked me, setting his servos on my waist.
I smiled, my optics half-shut,"What ever do you mean?"
My voice was high and flirty. I loved to tease him, and loved it when he teased me back.
Optimus slid his servos lower to my hips, then pulled me closer.
He kissed my cheek, then pulled away when I turned my helm to kiss him.
"Lie down," he whispered.
I smirked, but took his servos off my hips and did as he had ordered. I stretched out on the berth of blankets he'd created, feeling the petals crush beneath me. I put my servos under my helm and flipped my hair outwards, spreading it around my helm like a black halo, then left my servos stretched above my helm.
Optimus knelt beside me, then picked up a servo-ful of petals and sprinkled them over my frame, mostly my torso.
I giggled as they landed on me, tickling my armor.
Optimus slid his one servo up my leg from my knee, keeping his optics locked with mine.
His servo brushed over my hip and I felt my spark speed up a little bit.
"I'm not interfacing again if that's what you're implying," I stated softly.
"No...I just want to make us happy," Optimus replied, sliding his servo higher over my stomach, shifting petals aside and stopping just under my breast-plates.
He slowly leaned down and I began to breathe heavily. His one knee slid between my legs and he leant on his other elbow to keep from crushing me as he continued to move closer down on me.
I could feel his breath on my face-plates now. Warm and dry, and it smelled like chocolate.
"You went to the nearby town didn't you?" I asked.
Optimus smiled,"Where do you think all of this came from, love?"
Before I could reply, Optimus pressed his dermas to the little hollow where my neck-cables disappeared under my armor, drawing a soft gasp from my dermas instead.
Optimus then kissed all along my neck-cables on both sides, even kissing my shoulder-plates.
I bit my derma and groaned softly. I wanted to feel his dermas on mine so badly.
My servos clenched above my helm and I moaned a little louder.
I felt Optimus smile against my neck-cables and knew he was playing with me the same I did with him.
He made as if to kiss me on the dermas, but instead kissed my upper arm.
"Optimuuuusss," I moaned, closing my optics.
"Yes, my love?" he asked.
I grabbed his helm and brought him close to kiss me, exhaling heavily.
Optimus took my wrists and held my servos above my helm again, but his dermas never left mine.
My intake opened and his glossa invaded, battling with mine.
Again I just gave up, enjoying the feeling of his glossa touching mine, and his dermas of his open intake pressed tightly against mine.
I let out another moan, long and soft.
Optimus did the same, putting his servos on either side of my helm and pressing himself as low down onto my frame as he dared.
Again my thoughts flicked onto the tiny being growing in my stomach.
Was it one? Or two? Or many? What gender? What would they look like?
I smiled against Optimus' dermas and sighed.
Whatever happened now, more joy was on its way.
