Arcee had just left, when Hexia stormed in, her optics an angry raspberry pink. I sighed,"If you want to continue this argument I am uninterested." "You knew I loved him," Hexia stated and I froze. "Huh?" I asked. "You knew I loved Optimus Prime, but you went and took him for yourself didn't you?" Hexia asked me, her digits loose at her sides, her optics fixed on mine, unblinking. "We had bonded long before you joined us, Hexia," I replied calmly,"Things might have been different if you'd come sooner." "Do you think I'm an idiot!?" Hexia blurted,"Do you think I don't know what your motives are?!" "Hexia, you are confusing me," I said, still calmly. Hexia turned and slammed the training room door shut, the lock clicking. "Optimus is not your plaything, Chardirakii," Hexia hissed as she slowly turned to face me again,"Not your toy to satisfy you at a whim." I crossed my arms,"I would have done that once, long long ago. But no more. I've changed." Hexia scoffed,"Into what? A needy glitch?" I dropped my servos to my sides as well and narrowed my optics,"Watch your words wisely, my sister." Hexia twitched her digits, but made no other move,"I've changed too. I am no longer the reckless little sparkling sister you left behind." "And I no longer constantly thirst for spilled energon, nor do I pine after the screams of the tortured," I replied,"We've both changed." "For you there is no change," Hexia snarled,"For you it is only...death." On the last word something pierced my side and a fiery pain shot up my torso. I screamed in pain and collapsed to one knee, clutching at the dark green tentacle digging itself into my side. Hexia walked closer to me,"You see, my sister, we were never alike." She flicked her digits again and the tentacle twisted inside me, tearing a groan from my dermas. "You thirsted for death, and you brought it happily," Hexia continued, circling me,"I merely wished to find that perfect mech. The one who could give me all the love and pleasure he could offer." She knelt by me and grabbed my chin roughly in her digits,"And you stole that mech from me." Hexia stood and waved her servo. The tentacle dug itself deeper into my side, drawing a scream of absolute agony from my voice-box. I collapsed forwards and curled into a ball, my energon starting to slip down my side and hip as I writhed in agony. "You...you who never gave a second scrap about having a mech, who much rather have his spark still beating in your servo than give yours fully to him, you stole my mech!" Hexia kicked me in the stomach and I wretched, emptying my tanks onto the floor. Hexia snapped her digits and the tentacle disappeared back into the floor, leaving my energon to pour freely from my now-open wound. I shakily lifted myself onto my elbows and coughed. The pain was making my vision foggy. Hexia grabbed my shoulder-plate and threw me with surprising strength across the room. The atmosphere seemed to warp and I crashed into a tree. We were now outside, behind the base. A figure was strapped to the wall, and I quickly drew a servo over my optics to realize with horror it was Optimus. He was bound with the same tentacles that had wounded me. "Optimus!" I cried, struggling to my peds, then leaning against the tree weakly as my energon continued to pour down my side and drip off my leg onto the grass. Optimus' optics landed on me and visibly widened as he began to struggle. Hexia stepped into my view of Optimus and hit me over the back-plates with her war-hammer, knocking me into the ground again. "I'm going to make this hurt, a lot," Hexia hissed, then made to hit me again, heaving the massive weapon over her helm. I rolled out of the way seconds before the war-hammer crashed into the ground where I had once been lying. I struggled to one knee, then dove out of the way of another blow. My side burned worse than the Pits I'm certain, but I had to keep moving. I had to fight back. I summoned a kopesh and ducked under Hexia's next swing, darting and lunging for under her arm. My kopesh hit home, but then Hexia swung her arm around with a shriek and swatted me away like a fly. I landed on my back-plates and rolled until I hit another tree, my kopesh spinning away somewhere else. "So weak, so pathetic," Hexia smirked, spinning her war-hammer in one servo easily seemingly unaffected from my attack,"So unlike the sister who abandoned me thousands of stellar-cycles ago." Quickly I pieced it together. Hexia was still immortal, thus having full and unlimited access to her powers. I got my peds under me and darted away from the next swing. "Uhh, Primus?" I said, ducking under another,"A little help would be much appreciated!" Hexia caught me in the chest-plate with her hammer and sent me flying backwards. I landed hard on the ground and felt something snap in my vertebral column, a sharp pain shooting all through my frame. I screamed, but couldn't do much else. I was paralyzed. Hexia stood over me and smirked,"Primus? Really? That old geezer couldn't care less about you." I was breathing hard, and I was bleeding too much. My vision was starting to blurr again. Hexia attached her hammer to her back-plates, then picked me up by the neck-cables with one servo and began squeezing. I could feel my respiratory systems being crushed, blocking air access to my systems. I couldn't move my arms to claw at her servo, nor my legs to kick her. Hexia's smirk grew as my vision began to fade black around the edges. "Now you know what it is like to die," she laughed. My vision went completely black and I knew nothing else, except for that cruel laugh echoing in my audio receptors.
