I turned with Optimus to see a skinny young boy with messy short brown hair and a goofy expression run up to Katelyn. He had chocolate brown eyes and wore a black sweater that said "Gamer" on it in bright green. "Rilyn and I are getting ice cream, wanna come?" he asked. Katelyn shook her head,"In a little bit." "I'll come," Sam said, then followed the boy back. "Who was that?" I asked curiously. "Oh, my little brother Edward, but he likes to be called Ed or Eddie 'cause it's 'cool'," Katelyn replied, making quotations in the air with her fingers. She reached into her large pocket on her sweater and pulled out a glasses case, then settled a pair of large mahogany glasses on her nose. Then she put the glasses case away and reached into her other pocket, pulling out a silver tin and shaking a small white pill out into her hand before popping it in her mouth. "What are those?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me again. "These?" Katelyn asked, holding up the tin,"They're made of ginger. They help me keep my meals down." "You get seasick," Optimus stated and Katelyn shrugged. "Yeah." She was looking out at the waves, but I couldn't help but feel I'd met this girl before. But how and where. "You look familiar but I don't know where I've seen you," I said, frowning slightly. Katelyn's head snapped towards me,"Huh? Oh, it happens. I don't think we've ever met before though...was it Charlotte?" I nodded. Still, I felt like I should know her. Optimus tugged on my hand, pulling me towards the seats inside. "Would you and your friends care to join us?" I asked. Katelyn shrugged, but her blue eyes took on a hint of suspicion,"I'll ask them." I smiled reassuringly, then Optimus and I headed inside. Along the way we passed Sam and...Edward, who were at the mini restaurant on board with another boy with straight dark brown hair and a more rounded dark-skinned face than Sam, but his optics were also intelligent, with that twinkle in them. Katelyn followed us and began talking to the three boys, gesturing to us. Sam and Rilyn nodded, but Edward made the weirdest face I'd ever seen on a human and said loud enough for me to hear,"Sure." Optimus and I sat down facing the large window of the ferry and just sat in silence. It wasn't too long before the three boys and girl joined us, the girl sitting on my right, and the boys all sitting in a line on Optimus' left. The girl pulled out a phone with a purple and turquoise case and began writing something with it. I peeked over her shoulder a little and saw she was writing what looked like a story. "Are you an author?" I asked. Katelyn blushed,"Er...I want to be. For now I just use this app called Wattpad. It lets you write and publish stories and people can read them." "Sounds interesting," I commented thoughtfully,"What is your story about if you don't mind telling me." Katelyn's face lit up,"Well, it's kind of like a fanfiction between one of my OCs and my favorite main character in a movie. She's the goddess of death, and she kinda hates this guy, but over time she gets used to him, then they fall in love, then they get married, and now I'm just working on their honeymoon chapters." I blinked in surprise. That sounded a lot like what I'd been through since first coming to Earth. The duration of the ferry ride was peaceful. Optimus and I struck up friendly conversations with the younger humans, and suddenly we were at the dock. "Well it was lovely meeting you, Orion, Charlotte," Katelyn said, standing up and shaking our hands,"You definitely made this trip less boring." I smiled,"Maybe we can meet again sometime." "That would be great," Katelyn sighed, then rejoined the group of boys. Optimus took my hand and we waited until the captain said we could return to our vehicles. I walked down to where my vehicle mode was located, then climbed in and followed the cars driving out. I saw Optimus and smiled. Once we were on land again, it was already evening. The trip had taken all day. Newfoundland was beautiful! Huge rugged mountains that had been carved by glaciers, magestic coniferous trees, and barely a house in sight. Optimus and I drove for some time on a main road, but there was hardly anyone on the road. We waited until we were certain no one could see, then turned off the road and transformed, running into the forest. We stopped near a wide stream and sat on the rocks, both smiling. "This is wonderful," I sighed happily. Optimus wrapped an arm around my shoulder-plates,"Yes, yes it is." He kissed behind my audio receptor, his dermas tickling the sensitive metal, then kissed my cheek. I turned my helm slightly and our dermas met. Optimus set his other servo on my stomach, then slipped it around my waist and pulled me onto his lap. I wrapped both arms around his neck-cables and kissed him passionately. Optimus pulled back, then softly bit my bottom derma with a groan. I pressed my fore-helm to his and ran my servos down his neck-cables and over his chest-plate. Optimus kissed me again, massaging my hips and lower back, then slipped his glossa into my intake and lightly touched it to mine. A soft moan escaped my dermas as I pressed myself harder against him, deepening the kiss and thrusting my glossa aggressively against his. Optimus fought back, and I allowed him to win, letting his glossa explore my intake freely. He squeezed my hips and I moaned quietly, wrapping my arms once more around his neck-cables. Optimus pulled away, and we both just sat there staring at each other, panting. His sky-blue optics, the color that had first captivated me when I set ped on Earth, now bored lovingly into my own onyx-colored ones. "You're the best thing that ever happened to me, Chardirakii," he whispered, running a servo down the side of my face-plates. I smiled and blushed, then kissed him again,"I love you."
