I awoke inside a cave, with Smokescreen lying some ways away from me, groaning.
The Forge of Solace Prime was resting in my servo and I realized what Smokescreen had done.
I stood up and rolled my helm on my neck-cables, working out the stiffness.
"Smokescreen," I said, catching the rookie's attention.
"Optimus!" Smokescreen cried happily, running over and stopping just before me, though he looked ready to hug me,"I-it worked. You're back!"
I smiled,"Thank you, Smokescreen. But now we must find our comrades. Do you know where they might be?"
"Yeah, they were going to attack Darkmount last I heard," Smokescreen replied, then his optics widened,"Are you going to beat their tailpipes to scrap?"
I smiled slightly and nodded, picking up the Forge,"Lead the way."
Smokescreen grabbed my servo and activated the phase-shifter, then pulled us through the rocky wall.
I could feel a jetpack on my back-plates, and knew that I could fly.
"You go on ahead, Prime, I'll catch up," Smokescreen said.
I nodded, then shot off into the sky.
The wind rushed past me at amazing speeds and I felt my energon rushing in my veins.
Perhaps I could take Chardirakii up here sometime. She would probably enjoy it.
I smiled behind my mask. She would come soon. I knew it.
Soon Darkmount came into view and my happy thoughts turned angry, especially at the sight of my comrades being held captive outside by Shockwave, and Ultra Magnus being tortured for information at the very peak of the base.
I growled and pushed myself to fly faster.
I caught a fleeting glimpse of Megatron's face-plates, a look of pure terror and shock, right before I planted my fist directly in the center of them.
Megatron went flying several feet, but I didn't let him recover, hitting him again and again.
This new chassis made me feel stronger, more powerful.
Once I had punched Megatron into his throne, literally, I turned to Ultra Magnus.
"Commander?" I asked.
"Sir, you're looking...robust," Ultra Magnus replied.
Just then a fireball shot down from the skies above and crashed into the top of Darkmount.
Once the smoke cleared, I was overjoyed to see Chardirakii's familar frame.
"Perfect timing," I said, approaching the femme.
Chardirakii smiled,"Perfect? I missed the chance to beat up Megatron again."
"Sir, who...may I ask...is this?" Ultra Magnus asked, pointing to Chardirakii.
"I am Chardirakii," the femme replied simply. She didn't add 'the Goddess of Death' after, which somewhat confused me.
"We need to deactivate or destroy that cannon," Ultra Magnus said, pointing to the giant weapon.
"Understood," I said, then ran and jumped off the edge of the landing platform.
As I flew, I noticed Megatron get up again, and get faced with Chardirakii. One of the best and most dangerous warriors I knew.
And the best lover.
Slowly I felt myself wondering what it would feel like to share a berth with Chardirakii, then shook that thought out of my helm. I needed to focus on my current mission.
"PRIIIIIIIMMMEE!!!" I heard Megatron yell from behind me.
Glancing back I noticed my enemy chasing me, leaving Archanature to try and deal with Chardirakii and Ultra Magnus.
I smiled again. That spider-bot was screwed.
Megatron began firing at me, but I dodged the blasts fairly easily.
Pulling out my huge gun, I spun and rapid-fired at Megatron.
Megatron dodged most of the shots, but one hit his wing and Megatron went spiralling downwards, only barely saving himself by grabbing hold of part of the base.
