Finding a caregiver is hard.
GET TO KNOW THEM!
i know i know i sound like a mom. But honestly, often times when littles don't get to know their caregivers first they get hurt. Whether it's emotionally or mentally. Even more so if the little is underage I'd hate to see any of you get hurt, so please just get to know them first. Ask them questions about themselves. Let them ask questions about you. Figure it all out before you jump into being their little.
BE OPEN TO IT NOT WORKING OUT
It sounds silly, but sometimes things don't always work out between a little and their caregiver. Sometimes some caregivers lie about whats going on in their life, to avoid taking care of their little. (This honestly has happened to so many littles i have talked to and its terrible). Sometimes personalities clash and it doesn't always work out great. What you gotta do is remind yourself life is trial and error. You gotta hit some rocks before you find any diamonds.
THEY MAY BE CLOSER THAN YOU THINK
I was in a group chat which littles and their caregivers from all over the place and a CG in the chat knew someone i went to school with who happened to be a little. So i made a little friend that way. Who's to say your caregiver isn't in school with you right now. You never know
