Sleeping can be difficult, whether it's insomnia, discomfort, or just loneliness. So i've compiled a list of things that work for me personally, have been suggested by other people, or have been suggested by a therapist
Have a bedtime routine, and stick to it. Have a specific order of doing things. Having a nightly routine will make it easier as your body starts to wind down, and it should make it easier to fall asleep.
Only wear pajamas at night! I know it can be so tempting to stay in your comfy clothes all day but TRUST ME, it works the same as having a routine, when you get into these comfy-cozy pjs your body starts to think "ok time for bed"
Try a lavender pillow spray! Lavender is a very calming scent that helps your body relax enough to fall sleep!
I know you're all sick and tired of this one but STAY OFF YOUR PHONE BEFORE BED. Your phone can be very stimulating to the brain and will keep your brain awake and alert.
If you need sound to fall asleep, make sure it's very calming music, alternatively you could try phone apps that play nature sounds.
Try some breathing exercises! Another great way to relieve stress and help you relax.
If you can't sleep in a dark room, invest in a super cute nightlight! If you have anything that you know helps you to sleep feel free to add!
