Watched the eclipse. It was nice to have a family outing after various situations that have happened this year.

The old mythical community theme continues.
So if anyone here remembers my very first journal after reading a story about another mythical here finding a place that felt suspicious and didn't show up on any maps. After feeling a bit spooked by the place their "friend" decided to throw their skateboard over the fence forcing them to go in to get it back and then some weird stuff happened after.
I decided to see if there was anything like that going on where I lived and found this area that didn't appear on Google Maps and asked Mum about it who at first seemed to dislike that I even knew about the place which is when I started to feel suspicious about it. Eventually she agreed to show me but as we were about to go down the path I started to get a really bad feeling and turned back. (This was when The Storm prophecy stuff was at it's height and I couldn't help thinking "What if I really did find something down here.")
We didn't go back for ages and Mum would change the subject whenever I brought the place up again but I eventually had to go back down the road next to the path to get photos for my school art project and I tried to take a photo down the path pretending it was for my project but the path goes round a corner almost immediately so I didn't see much.
Well I finally got to explore down there today! We had to walk down the road where I took the photos to go to a new shop and on the way back just decided to finally walk down the path a bit. There's a bridge at the end (Someone had painted various secret society symbols on the bridge but it was absolutely just people messing around) and then there is either a route towards woodlands and a second longer route which seems to lead to a little village.

Yet another giant house spider in the same spot as 3 of the others. I wish I could figure out where they're coming from.

Another giant house spider only Midnight ate it before anyone could do anything :/
Bought what was supposed to be a poster of my favorite film. They sent a postcard that is really awful quality and the envelope used to send it was absolutely covered in stamps.
