Black jeans and a maroon zip up with a white shirt became my outfit of choice.
It's fall, so chilly, but not too cold.
I honestly feel so drained. Only slept for a max of five hours last night.
The usual.
After Maxie and I sorted out our situation, I got up and walked down the staircase of my empty house to the kitchen.
If you don't know what's happening, here's what.
Max and I have horrid lives here. At school, we only have each other because everyone else goes right past us. My dad left my mom when I was seven. My mom is never home. Cameron is only a year older than me, and he has to act like a parent figure for me. He's the only thing in my life that I'm going to regret leaving.
If you haven't gathered, we're running away.
Sure, we'll come back.
But if no one stops us, no one cares.

After a few longing hours, I thought it was time to ask Cam if he was going to have people come over tonight. If he is, it sorta makes the situation easier. If we make any noise attempting to escape out of my window, our noise will be muffled by their own noises.
Our plan to escape is pretty self explanatory, but also somehow thought out- as if it would sound like we didn't make it.
She would come to my house, making a distraction so I can sneak into Cam's room and grab a few twenties out of his wallet. I would say I forgot something in his room as a coverup, if anyone asks.
Maxie and I would soon make our way up to my bedroom- already packed and leave out of my two story high window on to the tree, and onto the ground.
I would've had Max come over during the day so I can take some of his money then, but I can't.
Cam takes his wallet with him everywhere, and Max prefers to drive in the dark.
Less people.
I texted Cam and asked him if he was having people over and he said yes. His seven usual friends.

So this is it. This is our plan.
I guess this is it, huh? I'm actually doing this tonight?
Let's leave this town- burdensome, mind numbing dumbness of a town.
Along with the people in it.
Let's leave tonight.
