"No, no- NO! YOU CAN'T STOP ME. I NEED TO LEAVE THIS PLACE." I yell as I hop down out of the tree onto the wet grass, rain pounding the pavement.
"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! Y/N! COME BACK." I hear them yell from the window.
I run.
Not thinking of anything else, my breath staggers
I hear a car start far behind me. I hear more running footsteps behind me.
One person, maybe?
I don't care. I get faster- so do the other steps.
I feel the rain hit my face like pellets. My legs become wobbly and my heart skips a beat or two.
I almost fall as I catch my self- I'm getting dizzy. I hear the footsteps get closer and closer.
A car that I've never seen before drives down the road.
Then there's me. Still running in the middle of the road. Not caring about the things that could happen. The car honks and swerves past me, continuing to drive.
I can hear my heartbeat in my ears. Echoing like drums.
I fall to the ground onto the pavement.
I attempt to get up again but I open my eyes and see
someone standing beside me.
"Jungguk?"
"What was that about?! Are you okay??" Jungguk asks, putting his hands on his knees, catching his breath.
Not far after that, someone pulls up in a dark blue truck.
"Y/N!"
Yoongi, Jimin and Max get out of the truck and yanked me off the ground.
"WHAT THE HECK, Y/N? YOU COULD'VE BEEN KILLED!" Yoongi grabs me by the shoulders, inspecting me to make sure I'm not bruised or scratched.
I look over at Max and Jimin. Maxie looks shocked, but not surprised.
She knew I'm not dumb enough to get myself killed that easily.
"You know I wouldn't have let her get hit. I would rather die than have her die..." Jungguk trails off, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly, Yoongi still checking my face and arms.
Jimin yanks me from Yoongi's tight grasp, pulling me into a tight hug.
"Why'd you have to do that?"

"You almost died."
