Should I check on Cam?
He seemed... off.
I thought to myself as I rolled down my sleeves.
"Remember Y/n," I whispered to myself, staring at the horrific reflection in the body mirror.
More like a completely different person than I used to be, I wanted to be like the others, after all.
I whisper to myself,
"It's not just you in this world. Worry about other people more than yourself."
I opened my door slowly, peeking out the door.
Nothing.
I walk down the carpeted staircase.
I need to talk to him.
I knock on his door four times in a specific pattern.
Our secret knock.
"What."
I heard, come in from the other side of the door. More of a statement than a question.
"Can I-" I choked up. "I need to talk to you."
"..."
He went silent.
"It's open." He breathed out.
I let go of the breath I didn't realize I was holding.
I twisted the doorknob slowly and peeked in.
Cam was sitting at his wood desk, editing a video he must've shot a few days back for his YouTube channel.
He had on black beanie type hat, a red hoodie and black jeans.
The usual.
I walked in and sat on his bed.
"Look, Cam, I'm sorr-"
"No. Don't say sorry. It's not your fault." He said, eyes sealed to his computer screen.
"Well I mean it kinda is-"
"Just stop, will you? Please?" He glanced at me annoyingly.
I feel silent.
What did he mean by that?
"I get it."
I wasn't sure what he meant by that either.
"What?" I ask, confused.
"I understand that you're tired. I understand that you're sick of this place that we call life," he spun around in his chair, facing me.
"So it makes sense on why you'd want to leave.""But please don't."
