Chapter 9

The second day of exams was over, Soraru was talking to Nqrse as Urata just stared at the raven-haired. After the conversation with Mafu yesterday, Soraru had seemed a bit less energetic, well less energetic than he usually is. Urata just looked down, he felt pity towards his friend, he did like to help others when they can. After all, Soraru would throw his life away to save a random stranger with his powers. Urata widened his eyes as he remembered about the raven-haired's power. He looked at Soraru before deciding to give it a shot.

"So you really are going to help him?"

Soraru slightly frowned as the brunette's words entered his mind.

"I thought we agreed not to talk about this anymore."

"Why don't you just try to take him from Luz?"

"No."

"It's not that bad, and if anything goes wrong you can just reset time and then agree to help him."

"Urata just stop."

Soraru was mentally tired from talking about it, the more the brunette mentioned it, the more the idea of helping Mafu hurt him. The raven-haired had gotten good at hiding his frown so Nqrse wasn't able to see any discomfort on his face. The school day ended, the two males got up to leave the classroom.

"So we're doing the study group today?" Nqrse asked the raven-haired, who simply nodded.

"A little last minute studying wouldn't kill anybody."

"Unless their names are Amatsuki, Luz, Sakata and Mafu." Nqrse teased as Soraru laughed. "Those four are not even going to study and just joke around."

"That's true, but at least we can hang out while trying to study."

"The keyword is trying."

The two made it to the gates and saw that only Mafu, Senra, Kashitaro and Sakata were there.

"Where are the others?" Soraru asked them as Kashitaro sighed.

"Amatsuki is probably just late as usual, Shima went to get something, and Luz had to drop off something at the faculty room."

"So we have to wait for them." Nqrse stated as the others nodded.

"Did we decide on who's house we should go to?" Senra asked the guys as they thought about it.

"Why not Soraru's house?" Sakata suggested as they all looked at the raven-haired.

"Eh? Why?"

"We've never been there and I want to check it out." Mafu said as Soraru smiled at him fondly.

"Sure."

"Of course you'd give into Mafu."

"Shut it."

"Yet here you are, helping him with his own love life and not yours."

Soraru blocked out Urata, who sighed in disappointment. The other three arrived a few minutes later. Soraru began to walk towards his house as the others followed behind. The raven-haired just listened to the chatter behind him as they made their way, Urata glanced at the albino talking to Luz before looking at Soraru with a grave face.

"You're going to regret this. Luz will fall in love with him while you'll have your unrequited love."

"Just shut up."

Urata crossed his arms, he hadn't been in the mood to tease or pull pranks on people. He was constantly worrying about the raven-haired, Urata just didn't want to see his friend watch his crush love someone else. But just like how Mafu won't take no for an answer, Soraru is hard to budge. They made it to the raven-haired's house, the guys were impressed that it was clean.
