~Chapter 19~

-ZACH'S P.O.V.-

I looked around, there should be no one around here except for us. Hopefully the Vampire after Katherine won't be able to locate her here. I pulled out my phone and called Daniel.

"I did a perimeter check, we should be good"

"Okay, you should head back"

"Why is something wrong?"

"Jonah and Jack just arrived. I have a feeling things are going to get interesting"

"Okay, I'll be back in a bit"

I hung up and turned around ready to walk back when I saw Kay.

"Kay, what are you doing here?"

"Zach we nee to talk"

"Why don't we go back to the cabin and talk"

"I'm sorry about what happened the other night. I'm sorry I didn't know how to react to your confession" she meant it.

"Kay it's okay really, as long as we're still friends then I'm okay with it"

"But I don't want to be friends with you"

"What? Why?" I asked walking closer to her.

"Because I don't see you as a friend Zach"

She grabbed the collar of my hoodie and pulled me close to her.

"I like you Zach"

She kissed me. I froze for a second trying to process her words when she pulled away from me.

"No" I pulled her back and kissed her. I wrapped my arm around her waist pulling her closer to me. After a couple minutes we pulled away.

"So does this mean you'll be mine?"

She smiled before responding, "Yes, but I don't want the other's to know yet"

"I'm sure they all ready know something is going on between me and you already"

"Fine, we can tell them once we get back"

"Come on we should get going , Daniel said Jonah and Jack came also"

We sped back to the cabin. Jonah's car was here. I walked to the front door and opened it. Jonah and Jack were in the living room with the rest. Where was Katherine?

"Kay, where did you go? I thought you were in the room" I looked up and saw Katherine walking down the stairs. I looked at Kay.

"I was, but Zach called me so I went out to look for him" she looked at me.

"Yeah I called her"

"When did you walk out I didn't even see you" It was Mark.

"How could you when you were busy talking to Andrea" Kay said walking to the kitchen. I smiled at her before looking at Katherine, something seemed to be bothering her. I walked to her.

"Did you have breakfast already?"

"I was going to grab something right now"

I nodded my head. She was starring at someone. I turned to see Jonah looking at her. I turned back to look at Katherine.

"Hey, wanna take a walk with me?"

"But you haven't eaten and you barely got back"

"Come on, grab your hoodie and shoes"

She nodded and headed upstairs. I walked to the kitchen and saw Kay sitting at the table drinking water.

"I'll be back I'm going out with Katherine"
