"Iston i nif gin, [I know your face- Sind.]"

I looked up at Legolas, who had halted in his comforting gait. He smiled down at me, and then turned back to an elf he was talking to.

"She needs healing, soon." The elf tried to pry me out of Legolas's arms, but he tightened his grip around me. The following conversation was in such rapid elvish that, by the time I heard and translated what they were saying, I was at least a minute behind.

"Fine, we can take her to see Lady Galadriel."

He followed after the elf, still holding me tightly against his chest. I was slipping, and wrapped my arms around his neck. When I noticed some nearby elleths whispering, I quickly withdrew my arms, earning a frown that I don't think I was supposed to see.

"Boe de nestad [He/She is in need of healing- Sind.]..." He walked faster and said this to the elf he was following.

Captain.... Obvious.... I remembered his description on Urban Dictionary: 'Captain Obvious' and 'Eye Candy'.

The elf rolled his eyes at Legolas and motioned for him to place me on a little bed-like piece of furniture in the ¿talan?*. After much persuasion, I was finally placed carefully there. The bed was soft, and warm blankets coaxed me into a sleepy haze. My eyes started fluttering shut and my breathing slowed, becoming in sync with the soft rustle of the breeze in the forest. Legolas and the elf quietly exited the room.

Out of the corner of my closing eye, I spotted the bird again. I followed it carefully with my eyes until it landed on the arm of someone who, quite suddenly, appeared in front of me.

"Lady Galadriel," I quickly hopped up and swept into a bow, "It is a pleasure to meet you once more." She laughed a little and sighed, patting my shoulder as a gesture to stand.

"You were to meet me by the trees, but plans have changed," she said quite mysteriously, here eyes judging me.

"I am sorry, my lady, I am injured..."

"It is alright, I will have a healer attend to you, but there are first more important matters at hand that we must speak of." Woah, long sentence, I was getting dizzy.

"Come, walk with me," she led me away from the bed and out into the open forest, "Would you like some water?"

"Yes please, thank you." I took a silver goblet from her and practically inhaled the sweet spring water, then handed it back.

The very air around her seemed to glow with her passing. The shadows were chased away and the vines and flowers turned to face the Lady of Light. It was strange, walking farther and farther from the others, when I knew Legolas hadn't wanted to leave me alone. I was starting to wonder if she was going to talk to me, we had been walking for quite a while.

"I know what you're hiding," her voice maniacally echoed through my head. I instantly threw my hand to my forehead, in shock and slight pain, and she chuckled.

"What do you mean?" I said out loud.

"You're not the one, you knew it all along," she stared into my eyes, her own seeming cold and menacing, "You must go back."

"What do you mean I'm not the one? What do you mean I have-" I was interrupted by Anoron crashing through the trees around us. Galadriel jumped back, startled, and I rushed up to engulf the elf in a huge hug.

"Rhoe!"

"Anoron!"

Galadriel stepped back, seeming appalled.
