Call

I wake up late. Wala naman akong naisip na gagawin sa araw na 'to bukod dun sa imbitasyon ni Ivan mamayang gabi. Naligo muna ako tsaka nagbihis bago bumaba sa unang palapag kung saan nadun yung restaurant nila para makapag breakfast na agad. Kumakalam na kasi ang sikmura ko.

When I reached, I ordered my favorite food. This place is so amicable kaya nga ito ang napili kong puntahan. Nakakabawas ng problema, malapit kasi ito sa dagat at napakasarap ng simoy ng hangin.

Habang kumakain, hindi ko mapigilang magmasid sa mga customer na nakapaligid. Ang iba ay masayang-masaya kasama ang kani-kanilang pamilya, ang iba naman ay magkasintahan. Nakakaingit! It hurts me a lot when I realized that I'm different to them. I'm just alone. Dump and wasted! Without anyone cares!

"Can I join you?" a familiar voice from behind ask. I turned to see who it is, surprisingly it's Ivan.

"Oh, hindi kapa rin nakapag breakfast sa ganitong oras?" I asked him.

"Yes. May ginawa pa kasi ako kagabi kaya matagal akong nagising." he answered.

"Oh, I see." I smiled and continue eating even I'm not comfortable with his presence. Hindi ko yun pinapahalata. I stayed silence.

"Hmmm. Tungkol sa imbitasyon ko kagabi? Nakapag-isip kana ba?" there, he open that topic.

"Uhmm. Actually, I don't like parties or neither partying but... I can be your date for tonight so that I can pay you also for saving my life yesterday." I said as a matter of fact.

He smiled. "Anyways I don't want to be paid for that little thing I did, but I also needed your help this time. Thanks for accepting my invitation."

"No it's okay." I assured him.

"I'll text you the time. Be prepared ahead, susunduin nalang kita sa room mo mamaya."

"Okay." I simply replied before finishing my meal.

After my meal. I decided to buy clothes for tonight's party. I don't bring my clothes for gathering cause I don't think I'll go with some gatherings. My intention for this vacation is to rest my mind. And I hope I can.

I buy a simple black turtle neck dress. I choose that dress over the other one cause it's not that expensive. I want a simple dress that really suited in my slender body. My phone beep.

I get and answered it. "Hello, who's this?" It's unregistered number. I asked, a bit confused.

"It's me Cath, your sister." boses ni Dienn ang nasa kabilang linya.

"Oh, Ate what's the matter? Why are you calling?" tanong ko.

"You don't want me to call you?" nandiyan na naman ang pag sungit niya.

"Mommy, mommy, who's that? Is it Ate Cath? Give me the phone! I want to talk to her." pangungulit ng nag-iisang spoiled niyang anak.

"Wait muna baby ah. Let mom talk  to Ate Cath first." masuyong tugon ni ate Dienn sa anak.

"Okay po." buti't madali namang tumalima ang anak.

"Cath.... Where are you stayin' in this following days? I've heard that your taking a one week vacation. Ba't dika nagpapaalam sa 'kin??" panimulang sabi ni ate Dienn.

"Ate, Do I need to do that? Besides I'm old enough to make my own decisions. I already know what is right and what is wrong." I said, defending myself.

She's overprotective when it comes in me, but I understand her because she's just concern my whereabouts in life.

"I know, but you still need to inform me! Para naman ma monitor kita kung ano ng mga kababalaghan ang ginawa mo. By the way what happen between you and Drake? Tumawag yun dito, he said you two already broke up. Is it true?"

"Opo." sa dami-dami ko sanang gustong sasabihin ngunit iyon lang talaga ang tanging lumabas sa bibig ko. I can't! It's so, so hard to explain everything.

"That's all? You didn't even bother to explain what's the main reason why." napabuntong hininga nyang sabi.

"Promise I explain everything when I got home Ate." I answered.

"Bakit di nalang ngayon?" pangungulit pa nito.

"Ate please.....Understand me. I really need a peace of mind this time." I beg.

Siguro naiintindihan nya naman kaya di na sya ulit nangungulit pa. "Okay fine, but be carefull baka maya-maya may matanggap nalang akong maling balita tungkol sayo."

"Promise Ate, I just have to take a rest so I can gain strength again to face everything. I explain it to you later." I assured.

"Hope you will. Take care,Bye."

"Thanks Ate, Bye." napabuntong hininga ako ng naibaba ko ang phone.

I go home ng nabili ko na ang mga kailangan ko for tonight's party. I decided na ako nalang ang mag-ayos sa sarili ko. I don't need a make up artist. I can make it on my own.
