bout time they went on a date it took 20 chapters lmao

it was the day of their date and tyler was freaking out. he didn't know what to wear. he had no clue where they were going and he had an hour til josh said he would be here and he was started to have anxiety. he took a deep breath. "calm down joseph, it's just a date" he whispered to himself as he roamed through his closet. it was cold outside since it was almost december so he decided on high waisted jeans with a black belt and a grey v neck and a cardigan. he looked in the mirror and smiled.

joshua knocked on the door at 7:00 and tyler speeded down the stairs and jumped on him. "hi joshie" he gleamed. joshua kissed his forehead. "careful bambi you're gonna smash the flowers" joshua laughed and tyler released his grip from the boy and gasped.

"daises! my favorite! thank you! mama look!" he gently grabbed the flowers from joshua and handed them to his mom. she smiled at her son. "they are cute ty, i'll put them in a vase for you" she took the flowers and walked in the kitchen.

"now joshua i want tyler back by 10:00, and no funny business" chris said sternly. joshua gripped tylers hand and nodded. "yes sir"

they said their goodbyes and got into joshua's car. one hand was steering and the other one held tylers loosely. the radio played in the background along with tylers hums. joshua smiled. "i could listen to you sing all day" tyler blushed. "really?" he gleamed and joshua nodded. "God yes i love it"

"so joshua i dont know your middle name dun, where are we going?" tyler felt like they were driving forever. joshua looked over at him for a second. "it's william, and you'll see when we get there" he chuckled and tyler whined.

what seemed like hours they finally arrived at a restaurant called "tipsy's" joshua opened the door for tyler and immediately held his hand. tyler looked at him with worried eyes, scared of people seeing. joshua dismissed it.

"it's okay love. this is a gay restaurant. it's where people who love the same gender come to be themselves" joshua explained as he opened the door. tyler nodded, his mind easing. once they walked in the saw many same sex couples laughing and enjoying their time. he even saw feminine boys and for once he felt like he belonged. he already loved it here.

after they sat down and began examining the menu joshua spoke up. "so tyler when's your birthday?" he asked curiously. "december 1st" he replied while scanning the menu. josh's eyes widened. "that's next week! why didn't you tell me? i have to get you something extra special and take you somewhere special" he planned and tyler laughed.

"already planning a second date?" he smirked at joshua. "duh" joshua replied back. the waitress came and took their orders and left again. taking a drink of his water tyler spoke again. "i didn't tell you because i didn't think it was important" he shrugged. joshua gasped. "your day of birth is so important, the world got the prettiest boy" tyler rolled his eyes

"you're so cheesy"

after spending half the night talking and joshua flirting with tyler every 5 seconds the waiter brought out a milkshake with 2 straws, you would've thought this was a cheesy movie. nevertheless the boys laughed and romantically drank their milkshake joking about what their movie would be called if they starred in one.

they walked out hand and hand and took a little walk around the area laughing. tyler felt happy. it was a really good night. once they got back to joshua's car they drove back home, after they made out in the backseat of course.

joshua walked his love up to his door and spun him around and kissed him slowly. tyler tried to pull back but joshua grabbed his face and kissed him again which caused tyler to laugh. he put their foreheads together. "thanks for coming with me. i hope it was alright" he whispered. tyler pecked his lips and smiled. "it was amazing. you're amazing. goodnight joshua ." he smiled before walking in his house. he shut his door and leaned against it.

"so? how was it?" his mom asked. tyler sighed happily.

"i'm in love with him ma"
