Amelia was still adjusting. She knew it was over when she saw that kiss with Roxy but it really didn't hit her until the official break up. The main difference between the before and after is her focus. Her heart still sunk to point where buried treasure was still obtainable. However she was able to have her focus back. Work when by less stressful and when home alone on her computer doing classwork she could dial in again. The only thing disturbing was the messages sent to her. Either by mail or email. Some of the letters were all over the place.

< I look at my bed. Empty. My phone. Empty. My heart. The same. I miss you everyday. I love you. >

< Even though you're different you will always be my babe. We'll have fun again and take it even further. How about it. >

The hardest part about these letters were how could you tell who is who? Email was the same address and the letters had the same handwriting. So Kim was really closer to Carly then she realized. Almost as if Kim almost was the real host. But with the help of co workers, Azure, and a few others things were bright.

The day before she found herself on break about to have lunch when she checked her phone. Texts from Azure and her mother, and a few notifications about photos. The first one she checked was Azure's text.

< Hey Amil. I was at work and bumped into this amazing girl. And no she's not my date. I think she's yours. Worst case just someone to have fun with. I hate seeing you like this. It depresses me. Give me a call sometime. I'll be at home or my desk.>

Amelia smiled. This was a good opportunity. And knowing her friend he cleared the air so she didn't have to awkwardly do so. In doing so he is the one that slipped her the girls number and a picture so they can get a rough idea. This wasn't about replacing Carly and Kim. It was just a local get together. Have some fun. Be happy. The stress of Amelia being inside between work, school, and barely giving her mind fresh air outside going to work just a waste. Instead of her brain and thoughts eating her she went along with Azure's idea. It couldn't hurt at this point.

After losing then gaining the small weight back and normal facial color in her face she looked in the mirror. It was warm today. Able to wear some comfortable shorts with a long sleeve shirt to compliment along casual makeup. Nothing eye chasing. "Alright. So this is not a date. Not a date. Okay." She closed her eyes and exhaled. Opened them and seemed calm. Not happy nor sad. Not annoyed or scared. Just okay. Even so ready to go out there and tackle some of the things at hand. "Guess let's do this and meet Tina." Walking out of the door and locking it behind her.

From the otherside of the complex her ex girlfriend was hiding behind a door. She saw her beloved ex walking about. Originally planning to drop off another letter that woman was shocked to see Amelia outside. Especially dressed in that.

[ What the hell? ]

( Kim what's wrong? )

[ Look at that sweet thang. You see that sexy figure? Think she's dressing up for me? ]

( What does her clothes have to do with anything? )

[ Carly she grocery shops and does other errands after work. And she hasn't been wearing anything special like that since she dumped us. ]

( Maybe she's over it. )

[ Maybe that ungrateful woman has another woman! ]

( You don't-? )

[ Shut up Cherries. ]

( Kim you think she's on a date? )

[ To close for my liking. Guess what we're doing? ]

( Don't tell me hid behind a newspaper and follow her... )

[ Minus the paper. Don't want ink on my hands. ]

Sounds like such a stereotype but it was nice to sit at a Starbucks and wait for a girl. But a little fire of excitement struck her. Rather being at home in pajamas when not working grew tiring. Still not over it by any means she took the opportunity to attempt to end this depressing streak. Lacking the confidence she faked it and put on a smile.

When arriving next to the door came a wave to another blonde girl. "Hey there."

"Hey." Blushed Amelia.

"It's been a while. Well we never really like talked but I had you in eleventh grade chem. Line is down. Grab something and I'll be here."

"Alright. Be right back Tina." Wow. Now it clicked. She got smoking. Amelia in no time got her drink and sat down across from the beauty that sent the invite. "Sorry it took me so long to figure out."

"No worries Honey. I was so shy back then it is unreal. The whole closet thing and wow the guys and half the girls were bad about it."

"For sure. You cough and a guy says something dirty. Typical sixteen year old pigs."

"Right? So lame."

"Boys are awful. Men are arrogant and dense. And blonde chicks are sexy. Seriously I had no idea you were into girls. But I liked guys at one point." She snickered. So flirty, open, and fun. Something the doctor ordered to put a smile on Amelia.

Amelia did laugh. "I thought you were dating a guy."

"I always liked girls just you know, tried one boy as an exception and after a few weeks turned him away because it wasn't there. I like chest. I like a lady soft touch. A man can never have that. And cuddles. I don't need anything hitting up against me when I turn around."

"Well I mean really? If the guy is too muscular it isn't the greatest surface to lay on. Then if he is just all bone its weird. Then dad bod smell. How do you avoid all three?"

"Babeage." Laughed Tina.

Amelia faced herself laughing too. A few giggles and cackles being the most humor she found herself in the last few weeks. The atmosphere she was in was so laid back and judgement free. No demands, snobs, and customers good or bad. The brightest thing in front of her vision of those recent dull eyes was the pearl skin of the none date in front of her. Someone who wanted to playfully flirt and not be aggressive. Be friends with open arms. Then add in the fact she was quite the beauty. It seemed almost perfect.

Though meanwhile she was inside to a warm brewed coffee someone she knew was watching through the glass with a different kind of drink in her hand inside of a brown paper bag. Her eyes and mind clouding with rage. This was frightening.

( Kim what are you doing with that root beer? You don't like root beer. )

[ Two bottles. One for a backup. ]

( Wait those aren't to drink are they? )

[ Easy evidence to hide if that slut in there touches my woman. ]

~~~~~
Bitch got a bottle. Seriously the fact she has a backup weapon. Concern. Welp. Tina and possibly more have no idea what's coming.
