kai when joshua uses you as bate to kill kai

you have heard the stories about kai's dad and how he treated kai like shit, but you didn't think it would effect you at all.

but here you were tied to a chair screaming hoping someone would hear you but of course no one could.

"would you stop your screaming they aren't coming for you!" joshua whined "if they weren't coming for me then why did you kidnap me. you knew kai would come for me, your using me as leverage aren't you? your gonna kill him?" tears filled your eyes you couldn't stand the thought of kai dying.

"your smarter than i thought." that was the last thing he said before leaving again and going upstairs.

"y/n? y/n" you heard a familiar voice yell for you "kai?" you looked toward the stairs and saw kai running down. "no you can't be here kai go he's going to kill you!" you yell at him but he doesn't listen he still rushes toward you and un ties you.

he brings you into a tight hug "now lets get you home" "you really think it would be this easy kai? do you even know me?" you both stop and look up the stairs to see joshua walking toward you both, as you both start walking backward down the stairs.

you hear kai chanting under his breath but stops and screams out in pain as joshua stabs him in the shoulder. you gasp and cover your mouth with you hand and back away against the wall. joshua slowly makes his way to you, he lifts his hand rubbing your face with his finger "i can see why you like her kai, such a pretty girl to bad she's gonna have to die."

you fall to the ground clutching your stomach, you look over to where kai is. he's crawling trying to get to you, you hear someone grunt to your other side and look to see damon and stefan killing joshua.

your eyes slowly close as you start getting tired "no y/n stay with us" you hear stefan say as he bites his wrist giving you his blood.

you shoot up catching your breath, you looked around confused then the memories started flooding back. you saw joshua lying dead on the floor "hey your okay" stefan says rubbing your back "kai where's kai?" stefan looks down. no no no he's dead he can't be dead.

"oh my god y/n your okay i thought i was going to lose you." you look over toward the stairs to see kai walking toward you. you quickly get up running and jumping in his arms as he spins around hugging you. he sets you down placing his lips on yours, you wrap your hands in his hair. "would you guys get a room already?" damon says.

you pull away laughing leaning your forehead on kai's "i thought i lost you forever y/n, i love you so much" he placed a kiss on your nose "and i love you so much too kai."
