kai when he sees you after a couple of years
it's been two or three years since you last saw kai parker. you took your kids with you when they were were really young so they don't really remember him. your eldest is five and your youngest is four.
you were back in mystic falls visiting damon and stefan and everyone, because they've missed you and the kids.
before going to the salvatore's house you decided to stop at the grocery store and buy some food since it's the least you could do since they are letting you stay with them.
"let's go kiddos we have to be quick so we can see uncle damon and stefan" they walked beside you as you pushed the shopping cart "mommy can i go and get some cereal?" "of course sweetie, be careful and don't talk to strangers!"
kyle nodded then turned to run to the other aisle to get the cereal. a couple minutes have gone by and he's still not back "follow me annie" you held out your hand for her to take it.
walking to the other aisle you saw a man bending over talking to kyle "kyle get over here now?" you grabbed him by his arm and put him behind you.
the man stood up and no other then kai parker "y/n wow you look great." "i know" you turned to kyle "i thought i told you no talking to strangers?" "i'm sorry mommy" you gave him a sweet smile then turned to kai "don't come near my kids ever again!" you extended your arms out so your kids would stay behind you.
"you mean our kids?" "you lost that privilege after you cheated on me, on your wife."
he took a step closer but that only made you take a step back "i just want to get to know our kids y/n, please? they can't live their whole life without a father figure." "i did and i'm just fine."
your turned to walk away but he grabbed your arm "please i'm begging you let me get to know my own kids. i won't hurt them just let me see them at least once a month or something."
you nodded "fine once a month." he smiled while nodding "thank you!" you gave a small smile "i miss you, you know?" you looked down then back up at him " i miss you too."
"hunny i got the chips you wanted i hope. oh am i interrupting something?" you looked to see the girl he cheated on you with. "unbelievable" you muttered under your breath "no i was just leaving."
