they whispered as they kept looking back at you with sad expressions on their face. your bridesmaid walked back looking down "what's going on? everything okay?" you smiled they shook their head no.

"kai left and he's not coming back." "what" you cried as they held you comforting you.

it's been seven years since kai left you have a daughter thea, you and thea were on your way to alex's funeral. he was killed in a car accident.

the funeral ended and you went on your day trying to avoid kai and it worked until the next day when he showed up at your work.

"do you know who you father is?" "no my mommy says that he's a nobody." kai laughed then looked up at you, you rocked on your heels back and fourth.

"why don't you go sweetie i'll make your favorite for dinner" "bye mommy bye mister" you watched as thea walked out waving. kai turned toward you "is she mine?" you looked up "this is not how i imagined this conversation to go."

you walked back behind the counter again "were you ever going to tell me" "are you serious kai? i left you thousands of voicemails saying how important it was to call you back but you never even bothered to call."

you grabbed your keys before walking out the door kai following, you closed the door locking it. "please just let me explain" "there's nothing to explain kai you left me on one of the most important days of my life it's going to take a lot more then just one little apology and yet you still haven't even apologized."

you opened your car door to kai closing it "then let me make it up, please!" he pleaded. "fine fine" he put his hands together "thank you thank you, i'll pick you up tomorrow at six."
