kai when something happened to you
"damon where's kai?" you asked worriedly, stefan, damon, and kai we're fighting kai's father. but when you saw stefan and damon walk in you figured kai was right behind them but he wasn't.
damon and stefan looked down "where's kai?" tears were at the brim of your eyes "i'm sor-" before stefan could finish his sentence you broke down.
you fell on your knees your face in your hands crying, stefan pulled you into a hug assuring you it would be okay but you knew it wouldn't.
the past couple of weeks you never left the apartment you and kai shared, you would lay in your bed crying all day and all night barely getting any sleep.
you called stefan telling him to come over that it was important "how you holding up y/n" him asking that just made you want to break down crying.
"it hurts so bad stefan, i don't think i can't handle this much pain." stefan looked at you with sad eyes "please make me forget about him, i can't take this pain any longer."
stefan looked at you and shook his head "i can't do that y/n." "please stefan you have to please" you were crying at this point.
"you get what your going to lose right? all those memories, happy moments with him?" you nodded your head "i know stefan but it's the only way i can move on."
stefan nodded looking into your eyes and compelling you to forget about kai. stefan left after saying bye telling you, that you should go out and do something.
you decided to take a walk around the park so you got dressed and walked to the park. "y/n! y/n" you turn around to see a guy about your age "oh my god y/n i missed you" you looked him up and down but didn't recognize him.
you admit he was handsome but have never seen him before "what's wrong aren't you glad to see me?" you have him a confused look but he ignored it and pulled you into a kiss but you pushed away. "i'm sorry but do i know you?"
his eyes turned sad and his face fell "what do you mean y/n it's me kai your boyfriend." you shook your head confused "i'm sorry but i don't have a boyfriend" kai gripped his hair and then rubbed the back of his neck angrily "is this some sort of sick game your playing with me y/n? it's me kai."
"i'm sorry but i don't know you." you walked away still confused as to what the handsome guy was talking about, but right before you left you saw tears coming down he's face.
