kai when he's drinking at a party

caroline was hosting one of her big parties by the colleges and of course everyone was going to be there. you got all dressed up with care, elena, and bonnie. right before you left you received a text from kai aka your boyfriend saying he doesn't want to go because he doesn't feel good.

you walked downstairs to see tyler "hey ty" "what's up y/n?" you pulled him in for a hug "so did care pull you into this party thing?" "always does what about you?" you smiled and replied with a yes. "well i'll see you later ty i'm gonna go grab a drink." "see ya later y/n."

you walk over to the island to pour yourself some beer when care walks over. "so you having any fun y/n?" "i guess i just wish kai wasn't home sick so i could be here with him." she puts her cup down "wait kai told you he was sick?" you take a sip of your drink "yeah why?" "i just saw him with some girl over there"

you walked to where care was talking about and saw kai handing over a beer and placing a kiss on the girls lips. you dropped your cup when he looked over at you making eye contact "y/n?" you ran out of there taking your keys out of your purse.

"y/n wait i can explain!" you turn around "explain what kai? that you lied to me and cheated on me?" "y/n-" "no forget it kai we're through."

you opened your car door when elena started tapping on the glass "let me take you home y/n you've been drinking i haven't had anything." you wipes your tears and nodded getting out of the car moving to the passenger seat.

kai ran his hand through his hair as elena pulled out of the parking lot. you got out of the car going to unlock your front door when elena walked up she rubbed your back while talking "hey do you want me to stay here? we could have a girls night haven't had one of those in so long." you shook your head "sorry elena i just want to be alone right now please." she nodded saying she'd be back later to check on you.

you walked inside throwing your purse and keys on the table before getting changed for bed. you walked back into your room seeing kai sitting on the bed "please y/n just give me a minute to explain everything" you opened your bedroom door "why should i? you were the one sneaking around behind my back your just mad at yourself because i caught you." you felt the tears coming again "just pack your stuff and leave kai ple-" before you could finish your sentence he interrupted you again.

"no y/n listen" you shook your head "haven't you hurt me enough already i'm sick and tired of this kai. now please leave" kai grabbed his bag before packing his clothes. once he was finished he turned to you giving you one last kiss on the cheek "i'm sorry i messed everything up, i'm sorry i'm such a fuck up i love you y/n and i always will." he turned and left, left you crying for days and weeks. you never saw him again and that's what saddened you, you hate what he done but you loved him and always will.
