kai when he hears you talking about him to elena
you've had feelings for kai for the longest time but you were to scared to tell him because you thought he wouldn't like you back.
"so what's up with you and kai?" elena nudged your shoulder smirking "nothing we're just friends" you said looking down at your legs.
"just friends my ass. i see the way you look at him, always flirting with each other." you smiled at the thought of him "fine okay you got me i like kai, like a lot. but you have to promise me you can't tell him!"
you stick your pinky out "what why?" "because i don't want him to find out!" "just tell him y/n i'm pretty sure you'll like what he says."
you give her a small smile and turn around hearing a creak in the floor. kai has he been listening the entire time? "i'll leave you to alone." "no elena." you plead but she's already left.
"so you like me like a lot?" you nod sadly knowing he won't like you back "just forget it kai cause i know you don't like me. so forget what i said." he walks closer wrapping his arms around your waist. you were confused at first but that all changed when he placed his lips on yours.
"i like you to y/n" he smiles which makes you smile. "will you be my girlfriend?" before you could answer elena runs in "yes yes she will." you give her this look and start laughing "of course kai!"
