              So...Tony wasn't doing so good right now.  This wizard guy and his wizard friend were explaining to him about this Thanos guy.  That wasn't what scared Tony.  What scared Tony was the fact that Bruce said Thanos sent Loki. As soon as Bruce said this he felt a panic attack coming on.   So, as Tony did, he started stretching.  It sort of soothed his panic. Kind of.  He leaned on some sort of goblet.

           "He can destroy life on a scale hitherto undreamt of."  The wizard said.  "Did you seriously just say hitherto undreamt of?" Tony questioned sarcastically.  "Are you seriously leaning on the Cauldron of the Cosmos?" As he said this he slapped Tony's ass.  Tony was completely and utterly shocked.  I'm Tony Stark, he can't just slap my ass, he thought.

          "I am going to allow that." Tony said as he turns around to look Strange up and down.  This saving the world might be a little harder than he thought if he was going to be distracted by Strange.

~~~~~~~~~ 2 hours later ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
       They were on the planet Titan.  Stephen hadn't planned on bringing the stone to Thanos, but he made adjustments.  Stark made a good argument. Or maybe it was another reason.  Anyway, they had come face to face with the Guardians of the Galaxy.  Stephen thought that was a rather exaggerated team name.  Stark was trying to elaborate on his plan he came up with, but the guardians weren't cooperating
         "Okay. I like your plan except it sucks. So let me do the plan and that way it might be really good." Quill stated.  Tony was absolutely done. He could tell Peter was too.  They continued to banter for a while before one of them, Mantis, spoke up. "Excuse me, but does your friend often do that?"
             Tony looked over at Strange.  He was doing something weird while floating in the air.  "Strange, you alright?" He called out to him.  He seemed in pain and was moving his head rapidly back and forth.  Everyone rushed over to him.  Tony got there first.  He grabs his hand and tries to steady him.  "You're back, you're alright." Tony reassures him.  Peter looks confused.   "Hey what was that?" He asked.
               "I went forward in time.  To view alternate futures.  To see all the possible outcomes of the coming conflict."  Stephen explained, his voice wavering.   "How many did you see?" Quill interrupts.  "14,000,605." Stephen said quickly.  Tony turned to Stephen.  "How many did we win?"
                 Stephen hesitates. "One."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

                  The battle with Thanos had not gone well to say the least.  Tony had been doing great.  He had made Thanos bleed. He was so close.  Tony's weapon had been used to stab him.  He honestly didn't mind.  What's one sacrifice for the whole universe?  But just as Thanos had started to raise the gauntlet, Stephen intervened.   Tony was very confused.  He had done nothing to make Strange like him at all.  Yet here he was, giving up the time stone for him.

                   Then the real trouble began.  It started with Mantis.  "Somethings happening."  She warned as she turned to dust in Quill's arms.  Next was Drax.  "Quill?"  He had a scared look on his face as he asked this.  Next was Quill himself.  "Oh man." Tony turned to Stephen.  "Tony, there was no other way."  His voice was soft and loving as he locked eyes with Tony.  He started turning to dust.  "Wait, please." Tony reached out for him.  Stephen kissed Tony softly on the lips.  But then he was gone.  "Mr Stark? I don't feel so good."  Oh God, not Peter.  Please not Peter.

                 "He did it."  Nebula whispered.  Tony shook his head and put his hand on his face.  Why Peter?  Why Stephen?  Why couldn't it be him?

A/n: I'm thinking about writing a part 2 to this were they reunite. Let me know if you want that.
